POSITION: Internship Denmark
WHERE: Reach for Change, MTG office, Strandlodsvej 30, 2300 Copenhagen
DURATION: Fulltime, 3-6 months anytime within 2015
Reach for Change Identifies and supports Change Leaders – exceptional individuals who have a strong
desire to promote children’s rights, an innovative idea to change the world for children, and the passion
and the drive to create this change. They are given salary funding and coaching in our Incubator program,
and are matched with advisors and experts from a network of companies within the Kinnevik Group. Reach
for Change is a non-profit organization supported by MTG TV. We are active in 17 different countries on 3
continents. In 2013 we supported and improved the lives for over 1 million children!
YOUR ROLE
As intern you are actively involved in the daily work of the organization. You will be involved in our search and
selection of social entrepreneurs and supporting specific programs we run for our social entrepreneurs.
Communication and fundraising activities will also be a significant part of your work.
During your internship you’ll gain insight and knowledge about the non- profit social sector as well as the business
sector and the benefits of combining the two. You will get opportunities to meet with lots of inspiring and innovative
people with ideas and the driving force to make the world better for children all around the world. You’ll take
ownership, from start to finish but with lots of guidance, over your own specific project so that you walk away with
hands-on leadership and management experience. It is also a great chance to learn and get hands-on experience with
social entrepreneurship.
YOU ARE

An entrepreneurial, problem-solving go-getter with a passion for making the world a better place for children.

We imagine that you are a student or graduate of Communications, Marketing, Business studies, Humanistic
studies, Social Entrepreneurship or other. Although this is not a requirement, you may certainly come from a
different field of study, either on Bachelor’s or Master’s level, as long as you have the drive and passion we are
looking for.

You are most likely connected to a University where the internship is part of your education plan. This is an
unpaid position, however it’s very important to us that you are receiving funds from a third party (SU or other
source of income).
•
You will have great proficiency in English – the language we use for most of our communication.
You don’t hesitate to take the initiative in being proactive and like having many different projects to juggle at
the same time.
