A Red Carpet Event…
Let's celebrate! Salute to America at Greenfield Village is a beautiful tribute to "Americana". During our visit we
will get to explore the Village at our leisure, enjoy a picnic style dinner and take in one of the best Independence
Day Celebrations around! Bring a blanket or your favorite portable chair, we will secure our lawn seating upon our
arrival, then the evening is yours! Enjoy the nostalgic sights in the village, use your food voucher at the picnic tent
then kick back, relax and take in an entire evening of music by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra with the classic
1812 Overture, a live cannon and a spectacular fireworks display as a finale!
This event requires walking- please wear comfortable shoes, we will bring a cooler full of bottled water but you
are welcome to bring your own portable cooler with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks if you wish.
Itinerary:
4pm Depart from SE corner of the Howell
Vg’s parking Lot
4:30 Depart from the NE corner of the
Brighton Vg’s Parking Lot
4:45 Depart Whitmore Lake Middle School
Our early evening arrival will provide the
opportunity for you to enjoy the Village at
your leisure. Be sure to bring a lawn
blanket or lawn chair for the firework
display. (chairs to be stowed under the bus)

These payments are refundable up to 60 days prior unless otherwise noted. A $10 administration fee is charged for
all cancellations. Payment is non-refundable within 30 days of the event. Checks are preferred and should be made
