Pre-requisite # 1
Case 1 : If the IDS Interface PC has 32 bit operating system then goto c:\windows\system32 folder and
delete off existing msrdo20.dll and mswinsck.ocx.copy the attached msrdo20.dll and mswinsck.ocx into
c:\windows\system32 and register these files on interface pc by going to start menu..run option and
giving the below commands
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\msrdo20.dll
regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\mswinsck.ocx
Case 2 : If the IDS Interface PC has 64 bit operating system then goto c:\windows\syswow64 folder and
delete off existing msrdo20.dll and mswinsck.ocx.copy the attached msrdo20.dll and mswinsck.ocx into
c:\windows\syswow64 and register these files on interface pc by going to start menu..run option and
giving the below commands
regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\msrdo20.dll
regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\mswinsck.ocx
procure the Antamedia IP Based PMS interface program
Interface Implementation Instructions (very imp - to be read before implementing)
Antamedia Internet interface with IDS PMS with IDS PMS interface application as the SERVER
Create a folder called IDSINT in C: of our Interface PC and create a file called INTLOCK.DAT in idsint
folder using edit.
IMP Prerequisites :
1.IDS Interface application will be acting as the SERVER (based on our detailed mails with Mr.Vladan)
and our application would be listening on IP port number 5010 for incoming connection request from
the client.i.e
Antamedia system.Call the antamedia engineer at site and ask him to define antamedia as the client as
mentioned below
2.Antamedia server should be the client and PMS interface application will be the server.So avedia
server should be configured as the client which should invoke connection request on port 5010
on IP address of the Interface pc where our PMS interface is running.
3.Protocol to be set on Antamedia side is MICROS protocol.(this is the protocol used between IDS and
antamedia at Della adventures, India).
On the existing interface pc where interface test program should running do the following
3.Start the Antamedia IP Based PMS interface program first.The program will be listening on port no
5010 for incoming IP request from antamedia system
4.After this start the PMS application/service in thier antamedia server.It should send connection
request and the link will be online once connected.
5.communication will happen as per the antamedia server protocol doc.
How the antamedia MICROS PMS protocol works
6.Upon successful establishment of connection between the two systems , the communication will start.
When you trigger some postings in antamedia,antamedia sends a request for room details from the
PMS.PMS will send the room details if room is occupied and then antamedia will authenticate based on
the login details entered and response recieved by PMS and will send the posting record to PMS if login
is successful.This posting will be collected in guiitb.dat in idsint.
Communication log between IDS and antamedia will be written into c:\idsint\pms.log.We have already a
reference site called Della Adventures in lonavala,India.I am marking this mail to Mr.Vladan from
Antamedia who can help your local engineer on configuration in antamedia as mentioned above.
10.Verify the postings in the guiitb.dat containing the internet records.
which tax structure should be applicable for internet posting?
should the tax be calculated exclusive or inclusive on the amount coming from Antamedia?
11.all communication will get logged into pms.log
12.define the Tax structure for internet posting against revenue code ITB in Revenue code parameter in
PMS if required by the property and find our whether tax is to be calculated inclusive or exclusive on the
amount coming from Antamedia.Implement the Antamedia posting program and verify the internet
postings in relevant guest room bills
