At the Red River Zoo We Connect People to Nature!
The award winning Red River Zoo has received international recognition as a leading
breeding and conservation facility for some of the world’s rarest cold climate species. We
help save wildlife and their habitats through engaging visitor experiences, demonstrated
conservation leadership and unique educational opportunities. By connecting people to
nature, we inspire our community to learn, care, and act.
Year over year, the Zoo has seen significant increases in attendance. In 2014, the Zoo had
record attendance with approximately 140,000 visitors from 49 states and 11 countries.
The Red River Zoo currently has over 2500 members.
The Red River Zoo is a 501 c3 organization which is completely funded through admission
fees, memberships, philanthropic gifts, and fundraising. ZOOlebration! is the annual gala
fundraiser for the Zoo. This year’s theme is Explore Our World – An Evening with Jack
Hanna. Attendance is projected to be at least 600 people and is a 21 and over event.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss creative sponsorship options that would
best suit your organization’s needs or we welcome you to choose from the options on the
next page.

An Evening With Jack Hanna
The Red River Zoo is proud to welcome celebrity and wildlife expert Jack Hanna to
Fargo / Moorhead as the guest speaker for this year’s ZOOlebration! Celebration.
Jungle Jack Hanna explores the corners of the globe as one of the most respected animal
ambassadors. His enthusiasm and “hands-on” approach to wildlife conservation has won
him widespread acclaim as a conservationist, television personality, author and Director
Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and the Wilds.
Recognized as America’s favorite zookeeper, Jack has made countless television
appearances on shows such as Good Morning America, CBS’s The Talk, and The Late Show
with David Letterman.
Jack took his infectious energy to the airwaves by creating three nationally televised
programs. Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures ran for 10 years and is still currently in
syndication. Most recently, the Columbus Zoo and Nationwide Insurance have partnered
to sponsor the Emmy Award winning Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild and a new show on ABC,
Jack Hanna’s Wild Countdown.
Jack and his wife, Suzi, live in central Ohio and have three daughters, six grandchildren,
and a yellow Labrador.
