CHEM&131 Introduction To Organic Chemistry & Biochemistry Structure, properties and reactions of various organic compounds, including hydrocarbons, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids and amines. Students will use this information as foundation for examining complex compounds found in living systems: carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids. Basic Statistics MATH&146 Introduction to Statistics (Formerly MATH 109) Covers descriptive methods, probability and probability distributions, samples, decisions, hypothesis testing, statistical inferences, analysis of variance and regression, applications. Social Sciences Abnormal Psychology An overview of major categories of psychopathology, including description and classification, theoretical models, and recent research on etiology and treatment. PSYC&220 Abnormal Psychology Introduction to behaviors, theories and causes of mental disorders and the legal and ethical considerations associated with intervention. Study schizophrenia, depression, Alzheimer's disease and phobias, among others. Transfer class. Developmental Psychology An analysis of psychological development of the child in relation to biological, physical, and sociological antecedent conditions from infancy to adolescence.
