E X P O R T R E P O R T The Strawberry Export Report is published annually and reflects trends for total fresh and frozen exports and major export countries. Data is compiled by the U.S. Census Bureau, Foreign Trade Statistics division. Hong Kong data is compiled by Hong Kong Government Trade Statistics. Japan data is provided by Trade Statistics of Japan, Japanese Ministry of Finance. In 2014, California exported 251.8 million pounds of fresh strawberries and 49.7 million pounds of frozen strawberries, with a combined value of $424 million. California fresh strawberry exports represented 11.4 percent of the state’s fresh crop and 11.7 percent of frozen production. Fresh lbs. (000) Frozen lbs. Volume surpassed the pre-trade tariff levels from 2008.
