There is a waiting list in operation for boxes on certain days during Royal Ascot and they can be applied for, with no obligation via ascot.co.uk Children aged 17 years and under are allowed into the racecourse free of charge but they will count towards the overall occupancy in the box. As well as being the highlight of the racing year, the Royal Meeting is one of the most important events in the summer social calendar. Guests in Private Boxes at the east end of the Grandstand are requested to comply with the Royal Enclosure dress code during Royal Ascot. Guests in the West end boxes should note that Royal Enclosure dress code is compulsory.
