2015 Made With Code Poster Contest Challenge yourself to create a poster using computer code (html) and enter your poster into the 2015 Made with Code Poster Contest. Google, we are seeking submissions from girls that creatively communicate their idea of who they are as a Girl Scout. Deadline for entry June 12, 2015 Notification: You will receive a confirmation e-mail upon your submission. Winners will be notified by email June 26, 2015. Winners will receive a glossy 11 x 17 print of their poster and a surprise item. Winning and selected posters will be displayed at our August Kick Off meeting. Notify a trusted adult of what you plan to do on the computer. How to Submit Entries: 1) Follow the instructions until your project is complete and has been saved. In order to save your final project, you must create a webmaker account. Your information will not be given to other companies. 2) Your poster should be on the screen by itself. Copy the URL address at the top of your screen and paste it into the body of your e-mail. E-mail the URL link and your Internet Safety Pledge to [email protected]. 3) In the e-mail Subject line, please write Poster Submission. In the body of the e-mail, include the URL link, your first and last name, your troop number, and your level in Girl Scouts. 1 Rules for Entry 1. Competition is open to everyone. Only individual submissions will be accepted. Troops are not allowed to submit a collective project. 2. Only one submission per girl is allowed. 3. Each submission must include all aspects of the coding program. 4. ht to display accepted work and reproduce accepted work for educational and promotional purposes in both printed and electronic form. 5. has the sole right to refuse any submission that is deemed inappropriate. 6. Each artist must sign an Internet Safety Pledge before starting her poster design. Pledges must be submitted along with posters. Failure to submit both documents will disqualify your entry. FAQs 1. Can my troop submit one entry? No. This contest is for individual girls. Troops cannot submit a collective project. 2. When is the deadline for submitting my entry? June 12, 2015. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances. 3. I saw there is a similar competition with a camp theme. Can I submit an entry for each contest? Yes. Refer to the rules and deadlines for that particular contest. 4. What do I need to submit to participate in the contest? You must submit your signed Internet Safety Pledge AND your poster.
