ENTRY INFORMATION & FEES
1. PRE-ENTRY Only. Entries are Pre-Entry Only, no exceptions.
2. ENTRIES OPEN Monday, March 30, 2015. Any entries received
before that date will be returned. (Special exception for 2014 All-Star
Invitees.)
3. ENTRY DEADLINE: May 6, 2015. Entries will be accepted at United
Kennel Club until Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at 4:30 p.m. (Eastern
Time), after which time entries will not be accepted and cancellations will not be made.
Please note: Performance Events will close Wednesday, May 6, 2015,
at 4:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) OR when the numerical limit for the
event has been reached, whichever comes first. After which time
entries shall not be accepted, substituted or cancelled. No wait list
will be established. No substitutions. No exceptions will be made.
Entries received after that time will be returned.
4. Fees: $25 first entry. $20 each additional entry (same day, same
dog, same event and event-type made at the same time). Additional entries made at a later time will be charged the first entry fee. No
charge for Non-licensed classes and Conformation-Junior Showmanship classes.
5. Each dog must be entered on a separate entry form.
6. No entries will be accepted with conditions placed on its acceptance.
7. Any entry missing required information or any faxed entry missing authorization for UKC to use the designated credit card for entry
fees will not be processed or considered accepted.
Please Note: FRIDAY Conformation Events are qualifiers for Total
Dog and Total Junior; and SATURDAY Performance events are qualifiers for Total Dog and Total Junior.
Eligible performance events are as follows:
Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility, Lure Coursing (Regular
Stakes), Nosework, Drag Racing, Weight Pull and Dock Jumping.

SUBMITTING ENTRIES
1. Entries may be submitted on the Official UKC® Entry Form included with this Premium List or on any current official UKC® Entry
form. Nosework entries will be accepted on a separate entry form
which is also included in this Premium List. Photocopies of these
forms may be used. Entries for all events may be submitted online
on the UKC official website: www.ukcdogs.com.

Fax number (269) 349-5590. A faxed entry must be received in
UKC’s offices by the closing date and time and must be fully legible
and complete in order for it to be accepted. We will not accept a
faxed entry after the closing date and time based on a “Transmission OK” message in the possession of the owner. No exceptions.
Hand-delivered entries will be taken at the United Kennel Club offices.
PAYMENT FOR ENTRIES
1. Payment may be made by cash, check, money order or credit
card. No entry will be accepted without payment.
2. Make checks and money orders payable to “United Kennel Club”
Checks and money orders must be payable in U.S.
funds.
3. When paying by credit card, entry must include the
card number and expiration date, as well as the printed cardholder’s name, address, daytime phone, and

signature. Fax numbers and e-mail addresses should be included,
when applicable.
4. Post-dated checks, returned checks and declined credit cards do
not constitute valid entry fees. UKC will add a collection fee of $30
to the amount of each returned check or money order. Exhibitors
who repeatedly submit invalid entry fees may be put on a CASH
ONLY basis.
ENTRY CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
1. ENTRY cancellations MUST be received in writing prior to the
closing of entries or before limits have been reached. Requests
MUST INCLUDE dog’s UKC NUMBER, breed, name, and event-type
entered. Cancellations received by telephone will not be accepted.
2. No refund of entry fees will be made for entries cancelled AFTER the
closing date and time, except in the cases of females that come into
season and are entered in Agility, Lure Coursing, Obedience, Rally
Obedience, Weight Pull, Nosework or Drag Race events. In those
cases, refunds may be obtained by providing UKC with a veterinarian’s
certificate verifying that the female came into season after the closing
date. The certificate may be mailed, provided the postmark is no later
than the date prior to the day of the event, or delivered by hand to the
UKC superintendent personnel before the start of the event.
3. Cancelled entries submitted before the close of entries will be
charged a $10 processing fee. No entries will be refunded after the
closing date and time or after entry limits have been reached.
4. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent,
disqualified, excused by veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of Event Committee.
5. Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries before processing. If a duplicate entry is processed, however, no refund will be made.
6. Entry overpayments may be donated to the general trophy fund.
7. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the
control of the host organization, it is impossible to open or to complete an event, no refund of entry fee will be made.
8. If, in the opinion of the host club, the well-being of dogs,
exhibitors or spectators is at risk due to extreme weather conditions
such as but not limited to snow storms, hurricanes, tornado, lightning or extreme heat, the host club may cancel or stop an event
before completion. No refunds will be made in such cases.
ENTRY ELIGIBILITY
1. Dogs must be permanently registered with UKC, have a Temporary Listing (TL) number, or have a Limited Privilege (LP)/Performance Listing (PL) listing number by the closing date and time in
order to enter. No exceptions will be made. Entries for ineligible
dogs will be returned.
2. Dogs must meet the eligibility requirements for the event which
they are entering. For requirements, refer to the appropriate event
rules and regulations.
ENTRY CONFIRMATION, ARMBANDS AND JUDGING PROGRAM
1. Receipt of online entries will be acknowledged within 3 business
days but this does not constitute confirmation of a valid entry.
2. Electronic confirmation of entries will be sent to the e-mail
address included on the entry form as soon as the entry has been
accepted and processed.
3. Written confirmation of entries will be made by U.S. Postal mail
after the closing date. One armband will be assigned to each
entered dog for all event(s) in which the dog is entered for the
weekend. Entry confirmation information will be printed on the
back of the armband. Armbands will be mailed with the PREMIER
Judging Program. If you do not receive your confirmation by the Saturday preceding these events (June 6, 2015) please notify UKC.
4. A duplicate set of armbands will be available at the superintendent’s desk.
CLASS CHANGE/CORRECTION OF ENTRY
1. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of information on the
entry forms. Owners are responsible for any errors made on entry
forms, regardless of who may make such errors. Owners and
exhibitors are responsible for correcting any errors on
their entry.
2. If, according to the owner’s records, dogs that have
completed the requirements for a title after the closing
of entries may be moved up from the entered class to
the class for which it is eligible, provided that the
move up is requested in writing to UKC not later than
one-half hour prior to the start of any regular judging
at the show in which the entry is being made.
3. Any corrections to entries must be made in writing
to UKC using the appropriate form provided not later than one-half
hour prior to the start of any regular judging at the show.
UKC LICENSED & NON-LICENSED CLASSES OFFERED
CONFORMATION
1. Licensed Classes. Regular and Altered classes will be offered for all
eligible breeds and Junior Showmanship. Friday June 12 is the conformation qualifier for regular and altered Total Dog and Total Junior.
2. Non-Licensed Classes. Regular and Altered Group Competition,
Best In Show, Reserve Best In Show.
3. SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR THE BELGIAN SHEPHERD DOG
BREED. The UKC Special Judging/Exhibition Procedure for Belgian
Shepherd Dogs will be used. The Assisted Animation/Critique Procedure “long-form” method will be used. All rules and regulations
for the Assisted Animation/Critique Procedure will be adhered to. All
efforts will be made to include the BSD in the group ring. However,
the Herding Group competition will not be held up if the Belgian
Shepherd Dog Best of Breed is not chosen in time for the group
competition.
AGILITY TRIALS (outdoors on grass)
1. Three Trials offered. One trial per day-Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

TOTAL JUNIOR AWARD
CONFORMATION & PERFORMANCE NON-LICENSED CLASS
Held over two days: Junior Showmanship qualifier held on Friday,
and performance qualifier held on Saturday.
To be eligible for a “Total Junior” award a junior must:
1. Compete in a UKC Junior Showmanship Licensed class on Friday, June 12, 2015, and earn a 1st-4th placement with competition
or an Award of Merit. Licensed classes include Novice Junior,
Novice Senior, Open Junior and Open Senior.
2. Award of Merit for UKC Junior Showmanship classes will be calculated as follows:
*Award of Merit will only be given if the individual class meets these
requirements.
• 6 Junior Handlers in competition 1 AOM
• 9 Junior Handlers in competition 2 AOM
• 12 Junior Handlers in competition 3 AOM

Total Junior Participant Parade and Announcement of Qualifiers
1. On Saturday, June 13, 2015 in the Main Expo building, following
the conclusion of the last conformation group and the calculation of
all juniors competing for Total Dog, just prior to the Parade of Total
Dog Qualifiers, the following will take place (consult the Judging
Program for any possible changes in time or location).
Total Junior Participant Parade
1. A parade of “Total Junior” participants will kick-off this special
recognition. All Total Junior participants (dog AND handler teams)
report for the parade of Total Junior participants.
Total Junior Qualifiers Announcement
1. Following the parade of participants will be the announcement of
the Total Junior Qualifiers.
TOTAL DOG AWARD
With Special permission from United Kennel Club, Total Dog
competition will be held over two days. The conformation qualifier held on Friday; and performance qualifier held on Saturday.
Dogs will not have to earn all Total Dog requirements on the same
day. This will apply solely for the UKC’s PREMIER Event. To be eligible for a “Total Dog” award a dog must meet the following criteria:
1. On Friday, June 12, 2015, compete in conformation (regular or
altered) with competition and win one of the following classes: Best
Male/Female of Variety, Best Male/Female, Best of Winners, Champion, Grand Champion, Best of Breed, Group 1 through 4 (Note:
Group 4 win only counts if there are five or more breeds in the
Group class.), Best In Show, or Reserve Best In Show from the Regular or Altered conformation classes. With special
permission from the United Kennel Club, the following addition to the existing Total Dog Rules regarding

conformation competition requirements for the Champion and
Grand Champion classes shall apply solely on Friday, June 12, 2015.
a. Champion Classes. The following will be granted a competition win:
1) Champion Competition win.
2) Reserve Champion win with 3 or more dogs in competition.
3) Champion Award of Merit (CAOM) shall count toward
competition win when computing a total dog qualifier.
The number of Champion Awards of Merit to be
awarded shall be calculated as follows:
• 5-9 dogs in competition – 1 CAOM
• 10-14 dogs in competition – 2 CAOM
• 15-19 dogs in competition – 3 CAOM
• 20-24 dogs in competition – 4 CAOM
• 25-29 dogs in competition – 5 CAOM
• 30-34 dogs in competition – 6 CAOM
• 35-40 dogs in competition – 7 CAOM
b. Grand Champion Classes. Grand Award of Merits (GAOM)
shall count towards competition when computing a total dog
qualifier. The number of Grand Awards of Merit to be awarded
shall be calculated as follows:
• 3-4 dogs in competition – 1 GAOM
• 5-9 dogs in competition – 2 GAOM
• 10-14 dogs in competition – 3 GAOM
• 15-19 dogs in competition – 4 GAOM
• 20-24 dogs in competition – 5 GAOM

2. On Saturday, June 13, 2015 earn a qualifying score in a performance event. Qualifying scores earned from agility, obedience,
rally obedience, drag races, lure coursing (RS Only), nosework,
dock jumping or weight pull will count toward the Total Dog Award
on Saturday, June 13, 2015. Qualifying scores from a performance
event earned on Friday June 12, 2015 will not be used when computing the Total Dog Award. Dogs that meet the above requirements
will automatically receive a special “Total Dog” award.
3. Total Dog Hunting Title Bye-In! With special permission from
the United Kennel Club, dogs that have earned a hunting title in any
hunting event recognized by UKC on or before March 30, 2015 can
enter PREMIER as eligible for Total Dog. All dogs must be designated as entering Total Dog upon submission of entry into the conformation class in which the dog is eligible for on Friday June 12, 2015.
Total Dog Qualifiers Parade, Total Dog Groups and Total Dog
Best In Show Competition. (PREMIER Best in Show Competition
will follow after the completion of all Total Dog competition)
On Saturday June 13, 2015 in the Main Expo Building, following the

2. Total Dog qualifiers will then compete in Total Dog Groups. The
Total Dog Groups are the standard eight group designations. Each
dog that qualifies will compete in the group that its breed belongs to.
There will be NO ALTERED TOTAL DOG GROUP COMPETITION.
3. Total Dog Group One winners will proceed to the judging of the
PREMIER Total Dog Best In Show competition. A 2015 PREMIER Total
Dog Best In Show and 2015 PREMIER Total Dog Reserve Best In
Show winners will be selected.
4. Following the Total Dog Best in Show, the Altered Total Dog qualifiers will compete for a 2015 Premier Altered Total Dog Best in Show
and 2015 Premier Altered Total Dog Reserve Best in Show.
General Building and Parking Information
1. Building and Grounds will be open to exhibitors at
3 p.m. on Tuesday June 9, 2015. Overnight security is
not provided. All Times Are Eastern Daylight Savings
Time.
2. Building and Grounds will be open to exhibitors at 7 a.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Building will close at 10 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday.
Sunday, the building will close 30 minutes after the conclusion of
Altered Best In Show or 6 p.m., whichever is later.
3. Please follow the directions of the parking attendants to facilitate
an orderly traffic flow through the unloading areas and in the parking areas. Vehicles are allowed a 15-minute unloading time-frame.
Violators will be towed.
4. Limited Conformation crating in Expo North Room A and Room
B. Limited Rally and Obedience crating will be in Expo South (formerly Hazel Gray building), and crating for Agility will be outside
under tent provided by facility.
5. Grooming space is on a first come, first served basis. Empty
grooming space may not be saved.
6. No rugs or ground cover mats are allowed on the floor.
7. No exercise pens inside any building. There is ample room for private ex-pens outside.
8. Exhibitors will be required to stack their crates when crating in
any buildings.
9. Dogs may not be left unattended when crated in soft mesh crates
or on a grooming table. No dog may be left in an unlatched or unzippered crate or on a grooming table.
10. Dogs must not be left in the buildings overnight. All dogs must be
out of the buildings by 10 p.m.
11. No dogs or pets of any kind in restrooms or showers.
12. No powdering allowed.
13. For conformation, small ringside tables and crates are only
allowed at ringside during the judging of a single breed. The Event
Committee may order these tables and crates to be removed at its
discretion. Please do not abuse this privilege.
14. There will be absolutely NO SMOKING in all Buildings and designated areas.
15. Admission Fee. Admission - $5 per car per day or $10 per car for
a weekend pass (8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) An admission pass for exhibitors
will be included in the Judging Program.
16. No cones or other means to be used to save parking spaces in
or about the parking lot or campgrounds.
17. Overnight parking for R.V.’s and camping registration available.

5. THE OWNER OR DESIGNATED HANDLER of each
dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class
is to be judged. The host organization, event committee, and superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service
through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when
required.
6. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging.
Dogs not required for further judging do not need to remain in attendance.
7. Please remember to turn off cell phones and/or pagers before
entering rings.
8. No un-entered dogs allowed on the event grounds. No dog less
than 8 weeks of age may be present on the grounds of a UKC
Licensed event.
9. Exhibitors and dog owners are expected and required to clean up
after their own dogs. Any person witnessing a violation of this rule
must report it to the Event Committee. The Event Committee may
ask any person violating this rule to leave the event grounds. No
refund will be made if an exhibitor is asked to leave the grounds.
10. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs will be
allowed on the grounds or in the buildings on the day of a UKC®
Licensed event.
11. ATV (4-Wheelers) are prohibited on the grounds of the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds.
12. No Bicycles are allowed in any building or directly around any
event ring. Failure to adhere may result in the expulsion of the Bicyclist from the Event Grounds.
13. Skateboards and roller blades are allowed in the camping area only.
14. UKC will vigorously support any motel/hotel that files a complaint about exhibitors who fail to keep their dogs quiet or to clean
up after them. In order that the bad conduct of a few exhibitors does
not spoil it for the majority of responsible exhibitors, UKC will take
strong disciplinary action against any offenders.
15. All rights to televise, videotape, advertise, photograph, promote
or other-wise exploit the event are vested in United Kennel Club and
its assignees. All persons and animals on the event grounds at any
time while the shows are in progress do, by attending these shows,
grant to the club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent.
Exhibitor and General Information
1. All events are held under the Rules and Regulations of the United
Kennel Club
2. UKC, its agents and its employees assume no responsibility for any
loss, damage, or injury sustained by spectators or by exhibitors and
handlers, or to any of their dogs or property, and further assume no
responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians. UKC is not responsible for loss, accidents or theft.
3. SCHEDULING CONFLICTS FOR DOGS COMPETING IN MULTIPLE EVENTS.
a. Exhibitors are responsible for being available for judging at the
scheduled time.
b. Every possible effort will be made to accommodate exhibitors
who have dogs entered in multiple events, but judges are not
required to wait for dogs. Exhibitors are advised to notify stewards in all rings affected by the conflict so that judges may
work around any conflicts more easily.
c. All Star exhibitors, please be advised that the Agility, Obedience, Rally Obedience and Terrier Race All Star Invitationals
are not required to make allowances or accommodations for
dogs and/or handlers entered in the All Star Competition and
any other event.
4. UKC encourages exhibitors to present their dogs with the least
amount of grooming necessary to enable a judge to properly compare
each dog with the standard of its breed. Dogs should be clean, with
nails cut to a length suitable for the dog to perform the work for which
it was bred, and with clean teeth. The judge’s determination that this

5. PREMIER Agility, Obedience and Rally Obedience Trials, and Weight Pull events, are open to all
UKC registered breeds and mixed-breed dogs with a valid Limited Privilege/Performance Listing
number. The Coursing Aptitue Test is open to all UKC registered and Mixed breed dogs with a valid
Limited Privilege/Performance Listing number.
6. We want you to keep the points earned at UKC Licensed events.

1. Nosework classes consist of Pre-Trial which is for dogs that need certification to enter Nosework Levels N - E. If dog has
a title from NACSW in the applicable class, please submit a copy of the title to directly enter Levels N - E without the PreTrial requirements.
2. Individual element classes are divided into Levels “N”-“E” and further divided into “A” and “B” sections depending on
the experience of the dog and/or handler. Be sure to check the rules regarding the divisions. For these classes, dogs will
only be searching the elements chosen.
3. Full Nosework Trials are divided into Levels “N”-“E” and further divided into “A” and “B” sections depending on the
experience of the dog and/or handler. These trials contain all four elements. Dogs must qualify in an element to earn legs
toward that title.
4. Handler Discrimination. One glove will be used and must be provided by the handler.
5. All entries must be submitted on the current “Official UKC® Nosework Entry Form”.
6. Use a separate entry form for each dog entered in a club's event.
7. Mail all completed entry forms to the Event Secretary listed under the event, unless otherwise specified. Make checks
payable to the United Kennel Club or UKC.
8. Nosework events are open to all UKC registered breeds and mixed-breed dogs with a valid Performance Listing/Limited
Privilege number/Permanent Registration/Temporary Listing.
