The Committee on Surplus Land/ Building in the State was constituted vide this
department notification dated 16-5-2013 under the Chairmanship of the then Additional Chief
Secretary and Financial Commissioner to Govt. Haryana, Revenue and
Disaster Management Department. You were requested to send the proposal with detail of
Surplus land/ building of your Department which are not likely to be used in the current
decade i.e. till 2020, vide above mentioned letters. The information received so far from
different departments regarding the surplus land available in the State is enclosed herewith.
Now, it has been decided to hold a meeting under the Chairmanship of Additional
Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner to Govt. Haryana, Revenue and Disaster
Management Department on 29.4.2015 at 3:30 P.M. at Committee Room, 6th floor, New
Secretariat, Haryana, Sector 17, Chandigarh to discuss:
‘The pieces of land and buildings held by various departments and PSUs,
which are not likely to be used in the decade for conducting valuation at the current
circle rates and to work out methodology of its utilization in a time bound manner’.
You are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting. Data if any
pertaining to your department may please be sent in advance to this office.

The information received from different department regarding the surplus
Land/Building available in the State of Haryana.
1. Director State Transport has intimated that:A) In District Kaithal, 2 Kanal 7 Marla land are lying vacant on old bus stand which
are under process to transfer to MC office.
B) In District Panipat, Samalkha bus stand was closed due to far away from the
market and the same is under consideration to continue again.
2. Principal Secretary to Govt. Haryana, Industrial Training Department:The institution on the following land has been closed and now the possession of these
land for the Panchayat Department because the earlier land was donated by the Development
Panchayat to this Department:-

Commissioner Ambala Division, Ambala has intimated that in Tehsil
Ambala, a khasra No. 51/11/1/2 of old Tehsil Bhawan and Mal Gaudam are not
in good condition as well as not in position to use. In addition, a bank building,
a post office building and staff quarter situated in Barara were also not in the
good conditions.

Director, Secondary Education has informed that the following surplus
land/buildings are lying vacant:-

Fatehabad- 1. GSSS Nehla- 2 Acre with in school premises.2. GGHS
Gorakhpur- 2 Acre with in school premises.3. GHS Mochiwali- 1 Acre with
in school premises. 4 GSSS Ratia- 50X25 Feet- 1.5 K.M. from school.

Karnal- GVEI Bhoji Khalsa- Land or Building.

Rohtak- GSSS Samain- 3 Acre
