Nevada End of Course Examinations Math I and II
The purpose of this document is to provide educational stakeholders examples of the question types found in
the Nevada End of Course Examinations for Mathematics. The questions types contained in this document are
found in both the Math I and Math II End of Course Examinations. This is not a “practice test” and
performance on these items is not predictive of student performance on the End of Course Examinations.
The Examinations will contain four question types. Each of these types is described in the chart below.
The Nevada Department of Education (NDE) has included 8 examples to show some of the various ways in
which question types may be displayed.
