The Institute is keen on recruiting an Assistant Registrar, who has demonstrated excellence in the field of administration/establishment/finance/academic administration in a University or an Institute of national Importance and show great promise in continuing to do so. . Post Assistant Registrar (One Post- Unreserved) Pay Structure Pay Band - 3 (Rs.15,600- 39,100) with GP of Rs.5,400/- Essential Qualification Essential:i) Masters’ Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record. ii) Professional qualification in area of Management/ Finance and Accounts / Law. iii) Experience in handling administration / legal / financial / establishment matters in a University or an Institute of National Importance. Preferably below 45 yrs. (Relaxable for Government servant up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government, from time to time.) Age limit on the closing date for receipt of application General Conditions 1. The candidate must be a citizen of India. 2. Interested candidates shall apply online/PDF downloadable application format available at RGNIYD’s website www.rgniyd.gov.in. 3. The print out of the online submitted application form (hard copy) along with its enclosures & a Demand Draft on account of application fee of Rs.250/- should be sent by post to “The Registrar, RGNIYD, Sriperumbudur on or before 13th May 2015, duly super-scribed on the envelope: “Application for the post of Assistant Registrar ” 4. If already employed, the print out of the online submitted application should be forwarded through the present employer, so as to reach the “The Registrar, RGNIYD, Sriperumbudur” within the last date for receipt of hard copy of application form i.e, on or before 13th May 2015. RGNIYD will not be responsible for postal delay, if any. 5. The Selected Candidate will be covered under the New Contributory Pension Scheme as notified by the Government of India, Ministry of Finance vide notification No.5/7/2003ECB&PR dated 22 nd December, 2003. 6. Candidates shall have to produce the original documents at the time of appearing in the interview. 7. No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates regarding conduct/result of interview and reasons for not being called for interview. RGNIYD reserves the right NOT to fill up the post advertised. 8. The prescribed essential qualification/experience indicated are a bare minimum and mere possession of these will not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. RGNIYD may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualification, experience in the relevant field and experience higher than that of the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The candidates should, therefore, furnish details of all the qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed along with documentary evidence. 9. The qualification prescribed should have been obtained from recognized Universities/Institutions. 10. SC/ST/PWD are exempted from payment of application fee subject to submission of relevant certificates issued by the competent authority. 11. All other candidates must enclose a Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- issued by any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of “The Director, RGNIYD, Sriperumbudur, payable at Chennai from any Nationalized Bank. 12. Candidate shall write his/her Name and Post Applied on the reverse side of the Demand Draft without fail. 13. The hard copy of the application must be accompanied by a one page write-up of the applicant’s appreciation of the role and functions of the position of Assistant Registrar and how he/she can contribute to the Institute as well as why he/she considers oneself to be suited for the post. 14. RGNIYD reserves the right to summarily reject any application incomplete in any respect or does not have one or more of the prescribed enclosures. 15. The crucial date for determination of eligibility shall be the last date prescribed for the receipt of applications. 16. No correspondence will be entertained from candidates regarding postal delays, conduct of and result of interview, the reasons for not being called for interview or for not being selected, etc. Candidates are advised to check their email and periodically visit the website of RGNIYD to know the position of date of interview and any other information pertaining to this advertisement. 17. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates. 18.
