Dear Parents/Guardians:
Congratulations to all of the students who have earned the opportunity to participate in the annual Hoop Shoot competition that will

challenges teams of students from various North Delta Elementary

TRACK AND FIELD
Spring is almost here … and that means Track Season is beginning at Richardson! Again this year, all of the Grades 4, 5, 6 and 7 girls and boys will be involved in large group practices for their running, jumping and throwing events.
Practices will be held each Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7:50 a.m. (We
held our initial sign-up earlier this week, and practices will begin tomorrow,
Thursday, March 12th.)
Our team will meet on the all-weather field on most days. On rainy days, we may go inside the
school and be involved in circuit training. Children should come to all practices dressed appropriately for our running activities (e.g., PE strip). They should also bring a change of t-shirt, extra socks,
and a water bottle. If your child has missed the first sign-up to join our team, he/she is welcome to
do so at our next practice on Tuesday, March 31st. (More information will be sent home in April
when we return from our Spring Break holidays.)
If there are any parents who would like to come and help us at our large group practices, please
come and see Mme Wilson in the office. Thank you! Merci!
LOST CLOTHING
Don’t forget to stop by the lost and found display by the office to claim your child’s missing items of
clothing. Smaller items like jewelry and keys are at the office. All unclaimed items will be donated to charity by March 13, 2015.
REPORT CARD ENVELOPES
Report cards will be sent home today. Please sign the report card envelope and return it to the
school by Friday, March 13, 2015. Thank you.

BASKETBALL
As our second term comes to a close, we would like to take this time to thank our basketball coaches, Mr. Wilson and Mme Wilson for all their hard work and effort during the basketball season.
Coaches volunteer much of their own time to see that students are able to participate and have fun.
STUDENT PHOTO ORDERS
Please keep only the pictures that you wish to purchase and enclose a cheque made out to Lifetouch. Return the unwanted pictures along with a cheque for the ones you’ve kept to your child’s
teacher by Friday, March 13, 2015. (Class photo is complimentary.)
