This day had been designated as
an open snow make-up day. As
we only had two snow days this
year, there will be no school on
the 4th
TRACK & FIELD DAYS
Riverside’s track & field days will be
held the week of May 18. The 3rd & 4th
grade students will have their track meet
on Monday, May 18th, starting at 12:45
pm. The 1st and 2nd grade meet will be
held on Wednesday, May 20th at 12:45.
5th grade students will be participating in
the Jay Seiler Track Meet on Friday, May
22, from 9:30 to 1:00. The meet will be
held at Stiehm Stadium (located at DC
Everest Junior High). Rain date for the
Jay Seiler meet is Tuesday, May 26.
Parents and friends are welcome to come
and cheer on our students.

13th Annual “Giants in Science”
Science Fair Results
Riverside Elementary School hosted its
13th annual “Giants in Science” Science fair on
March 12. Nearly 200 students participated in
the event with a variety of unique projects from
hovercrafts to solar energy to catapults. We
were joined by a group of guest chemists from
Siemens Corporation and over 60 students from
UW-Stevens Point to help judge the event.

1st place: Vanessa Kamke - Does storage
