vibrant young professionals will come
together on June 6 from 7:00 p.m. to
10:30 p.m. at PGi Studios, for the 4th
annual House Party to benefit Ronald
McDonald House Charities® of Central
Texas (RMHC CTX).

complimentary cocktails and hors
d'oeuvres at this fun-filled, energetic
evening that will feature music and an
array of unique silent auction items.

support Central Texas families who rely
on RMHC CTX

OUR PURPOSE
Friends of the House are passionate, young professionals dedicated
to positively impacting the families served by Ronald McDonald
House Charities of Central Texas. Through their gifts of time, talent
and treasure, Friends members and supporters help RMHC CTX
care for families with critically ill and injured children.
ABOUT FRIENDS OF THE HOUSE
Friends of the House is a group of vibrant, community focused
professionals, ages 25-40, with varied backgrounds including real estate,
sales, law and finance. Friends of the House comes together and
supports RMHC CTX in a variety of ways including preparing meals for
families staying at the Ronald McDonald House, attending fundraising
events and volunteer activities, engaging in educational speaker series
and networking at social events. Through fundraising and volunteerism,
Friends of the House is raising awareness, raising resources and raising
the bar for young professional philanthropy.

A “HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME”
FOR FAMILIES WITH HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas
creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve
the health and well-being of children and their families.
Through the Ronald McDonald House® and Ronald
McDonald Family Rooms®, families have a restful,
comfortable place to stay that’s close to their critically ill or
injured children who are healing in Austin-area hospitals.
The Ronald McDonald House has 30 private guest rooms
and the amenities to make families feel comforted and
supported. From providing daily home cooked lunches
and dinners, laundry facilities, Internet access, children’s
play area to a garden sanctuary, the House helps support
families so they can focus on the most important thing their children.
Three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located within the
Dell Children’s Medical Center, St. David’s Medical Center
and St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas provide a
supportive, nurturing environment where families can rest
and regroup, and be mere moments away from their
critically ill children.
Making An Impact
In 2014, RMHC Central
Texas provided more than
10,000 room nights to
nearly 1,700 families.
The three Ronald
McDonald Family Rooms
had over 23,000 visits.
RMHC Central Texas’
Healing Hearts Program
which help families who
have lost children
supported 152 families.
