January 30, 2015 Dear Neighbor: Happy New Year! Rockford Lutheran School is blessed to be a part of this community. We would like to thank you for your past support. Our relationship with you, our neighbor, is part of what helps this community to thrive. It is thanks in part to people like you that we have been able to provide excellent academic, athletic and fine art programs at Rockford Lutheran. Our students continue to average two to three years above national and state averages and typically one out of six seniors is awarded the Illinois State Scholar award. Because tuition alone does not cover the cost of improvements and growth within our schools, we need to ask for community support. We value you and your goals, so we would like to offer you a simple value proposition. In exchange for your returning support at our annual fundraising Dinner Auction, we’ll again tell all those involved about you and your business. Our offer includes publicity in the event booklet, which features “thank you” listings and various sizes of display advertising, as well as auction table signage for donated goods. Rockford Lutheran School’s 31th Annual Dinner, Dance and Auction, will take place on April 25, 2015 at Radisson Hotel and Conference Center. We would love to be able to again publicize you as one of our sponsors, thank you as an auction item donor, or promote you as a table sponsor. SPONSORSHIP: All sponsorship levels include acknowledgment in the event program. Sponsorship levels are outlined in detail in the enclosure. ADVERTISING: Advertising space is available in our program. Please return the enclosed form by March 16, 2015. AUCTION DONATIONS: Auction donations are an excellent way for us to showcase your business. Monetary donations and gifts are appreciated. In the past, popular donations have included gift certificates, jewelry, weekend get‐a‐ways, electronics, specialty items, etc. The deadline for submitting donations in order to be recognized in the program is March 16, 2015. Donations may be mailed to Rockford Lutheran School, 3411 N. Alpine Road, Rockford, IL 61114, dropped off at the school, or picked up by our parent volunteers. To arrange a donation pick‐up, call the school at 815.877.9551.
