VOLUME 1, NUMBER 1
RHA Covenants Renewed In Perpetuity!
Many thanks to every homeowner who signed and sent their votes to renew our
homeowner association in perpetuity. This means that we won’t need to have 60%
of the owners resign the documents every 10 years or risk losing the log cabin and
surrounding property to the city for its own use.
RHA Bylaws Are Under Review
Quick Facts:
133 homes
8 homes sold in 2014
14 homes are rented
Please take a moment to review our BYLAWS on the www.rockspray.org website or
pull them out of your file drawer. Your Board members are doing just that and will
meet in May 2015 to discuss changes. We encourage you to be part of the process.
Look them over and send your suggested changes to: [email protected].
There are many past Board members out there, as well as future members who
want to see some changes. Let’s hear from you.
Approvals Now Needed for Construction
New rules in Peachtree City require all Homeowner Associations to approve new
construction as part of the permit process. We are just as “excited” about this as
you are to hear it.
Log Cabin is booked
21 of 31 days each
month.
Please email the RHA Board through the website www.Rockspray.org with your plan.
Please include your address, a picture/drawing, and the color.

DUES Remain Unchanged
Facebook:
Rockspray,GA
Your Treasurer and fellow board members are pleased to report that this year’s
dues are the same as last year’s.
RHA President
position is still open
We are building a reserve fund to lessen the need for dues increases. When RHA
began, there was no reserve fund. Dues were collected just to meet the needs of
maintaining the property. Dues were increased only when maintenance
requirements exceeded the revenues.
Log House Bookings
The Rockspray Log House is available to any homeowner in the subdivision who is
current on their dues or their renter. It’s a great place to have a family gathering,
picnic, or birthday party! This past year we averaged 21 days of use each month!!
Just email Nancy to make your reservation: [email protected]. The
log house can be booked up to three months in advance of when it is needed. The
checklist and rules for using the log house are on our website www.rockspray.org.
We hope to see all homeowners use it at least once this year.

Once the weather warms up, we’ll have another mulch-spreading day to further
spread the thick mulch to other areas on the property. A temporary sign that
weekend will notify everyone, but if you would like to help with such activities,
please send an email to [email protected].
Treasurer
Chris Connick
We have a new message board, thanks to an Eagle Scout. It is still a work in
progress, but should look nice once it is competed and stained.
Secretary
Jill Pattiz
Feel free to pick up trash on the property when you see it and deposit it in the trash
cans on the side of the log house. These trash bins are rolled to the street every
Monday night for garbage collection Tuesday mornings.

Many thanks to neighbor Peggy O’Farrell who has stepped up to overhaul our old
website. You can now find our covenants, board members, directory, log house
checklist, log house rules, and so much more. It is thoughtfully organized and easy
to use.

Opportunities
Sewing Wizard
We have money to replace the seat cushions and window coverings in the log cabin.
Would you like to select the materials and do this work? Please say yes and email
[email protected]
President
The last RHA President moved out of the neighborhood in December 2013. Since
that time, the Vice President has stepped up to assume those responsibilities. The
Vice President has agreed to stay, but would love someone else to be the President.
Please email [email protected] if you are willing.
Mulch Spreaders
Make new friends and enjoy fresh air when you volunteer to help spread mulch or
beautify the log house property. Email [email protected] if you are
willing to be notified when various opportunities arise.
