How to Participate in a Bridal Show
Entrance Requirements

You should be able to complete this course within 12 - 24 months.
Initial planning; Contracting a facility; Developing a fashion show;
Developing an advertising campaign; Cost estimates; Contacting
and securing exhibitors and determining door prizes.

Establishing a market; Avoiding marketing mistakes; Promoting your
business; Knowing the tax system.
The engagement period; Wedding plans; Costs; Designing
a wedding invitation; Who should give wedding showers; The
supporting cast; Remarriage.
The Business of Weddings, Part 1
Getting started; Developing a business plan; Getting organised;
Recording progress and taxes.
Your role on the wedding day; Organising and conducting various
types of ceremonies; Formation of the receiving line; The reception.
Image and advertising; How much to charge; Developing a
contract; Marketing; Understanding your client’s needs;
Building your clientele; Dealing with dissatisfied brides;
Vendors; Researching caterers.
Grade 10 (Std. 8) or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
Career Opportunities
You could even set up your own business, or work from home. If
you are already working in a wedding-related position in a bridal
shop, catering business, or for a florist, you'll find that the skills
gained through this course could lead to career advancement.

Programme Types offered at INTEC College
NQF
National Qualifications are credit-bearing qualifications registered
on the NQF (National Qualifications Framework) and accredited by
a Quality Assurance Body, such as a SETA (Sector Education and
Training Authority). A skills programme is an accredited component of
a national qualification.

The Many Parts of a Wedding
Agent Programmes are programmes for which INTEC offers tuition,
