Residential
Care
The Village also cares for 65 residents at Bayside
@ Byron. Accommodation comprises a bed/
sitting room with private bathroom, heating and
emergency call button. Some of our high care
areas are share rooms. There are community
lounges and dining rooms.
Designed with all your future needs in mind,
our 32 homes are all single-level and have
spacious outdoor living areas. Beautifully
landscaped, and with the convenience of an
attached garage with internal entry, coming
home is a pleasure.
Friendly staff liaise with Residents, providing care
and companionship. We aim to assist all residents
to maintain as much independence as possible.
We ensure that our Residential Aged Care Home
facility receives accreditation by the Federal
Government’s Aged Care Standards Agency.
Staffed around the clock by dedicated
professionals, the assisted living residence offers
help with bathing, dressing and administering
medications. Residents of assisted living enjoy
three delicious meals each day and participate in
a wide array of programs and events especially
tailored to their interests and abilities.
Bayside @ Byron provides 24/7 staff and
emergency call service, friendly community
rooms for functions and family occasions,
billiards room, hair salon, library and our
comprehensive recreation and activities program
including morning teas, walking club, exercise
classes, happy hour and much more. All residents
have access to our bus service with frequent trips
to shops and local points of interest.
All homes have generous reception rooms,
2 bedrooms and an extra multi-purpose area
- perfect for a study, guest-room or separate
media room. Two bathrooms, excellent storage
and good quality finishes and inclusions make
moving to Bayside @ Byron an easy decision.

Our History
RSL LifeCare is a charitable organisation that was
formed in 1911 to provide care and service to war
veterans. Services were initially provided at Bare
Island, Botany Bay, until moving to Narrabeen in 1939.
From small beginnings providing care and service to
just a handful of war veterans, the organisation has
grown to be one of the largest senior living services
in Australia.
Caring for 4500 people across Independent Living,
Community Care, Assisted Living, Dementia and
Nursing Home, we have developed an extensive range
of services that fosters independence and provides
social, clinical, emotional and spiritual support.
Despite our growth and the passage of time,
RSL LifeCare remains true to its original aim and
mission – to provide a home of peace and security
to senior Australians.
