welcome to annual enrollment!
May 6, 2015 – May 20, 2015
Dear {NAME}
It’s that time of year again, when the Company evaluates our benefit
programs to ensure we are offering you the most effective, affordable
and quality coverage. Last year, we asked you and your family to get
involved and make health care consumerism a priority… and you
listened! By utilizing the various tools we introduced, such as Castlight
Health and Wiser Health, you took charge of your health care spending
and helped us better manage our costs.

We are pleased to announce that, as a result of our team members and their families taking an active role in their health
care, there will be very few changes to our plan design for the 2015-2016 plan year. Also, due to our positive cost
experience over the past year, and to comply with the affordability component of Health Care Reform, team members will
experience minimal, if any, plan premium increases depending upon the option selected.
Although there are few changes for the 2015-2016 plan year, I encourage you to take the time during the upcoming
Annual Enrollment period to be sure that your current choices are still the right ones for you and your family. You should
consider both the cost you pay each paycheck for coverage, as well as what your potential expenses are during the year.
Together, we can control our costs by taking charge of our benefits and continuing to be wise health care consumers.
SVP, Human Resources

Health care reform – how it may affect you
Health care reform has created many changes
and requirements for both you and the
Company over the past several years. You can
get full details on health reform changes at
RUsBenefits.com, but here are some highlights:
n
The eligibility requirements for benefits have
changed. This may impact you, especially if
you are an hourly team member and your
average hours worked over the past 12
months makes you eligible for benefits.
n
Wiser Health (toysrus.mywiserhealth.com) – Choose
treatments that work. This easy-to-use online tool helps
you make informed treatment choices for more than 175
health conditions. Recommendations are personalized to
you, based on clinical evidence, personal preference and
treatment popularity.
All Americans are required to have health
care insurance. The options in our plan are
considered affordable and provide minimum
value as defined by health care reform. This
means you will generally not be eligible for a
government subsidy if you decide to waive
Company coverage and enroll in a plan on the
health insurance marketplace. If you do receive
a subsidy while eligible for our plans, you may
be required to pay it back to the government.
