Time for 2’s
Nursery Program
This drop-off program is intended as a
separation class for 2-year-olds.
The curriculum is designed to help children
explore their own ideas at the same time they are
gaining new skills.
“Time for 2’s” will include numerous
physical activities to encourage large muscle
development in our spacious, well-equipped
gymnasium.
Your 2-year-old will explore age-appropriate
manipulatives, books, sensory tables, musical
movement and arts & crafts. Through directed
play in the program, the child develops socially
and his or her capacity for adjustment to the
formal experience of Pre-Kindergarten is
enhanced.

For Fall 2015 session, child must reach
his/her 2nd birthday by Sept. 30, 2015.
Registration for residents will begin on March 23,
2015 at 9:00am at the Recreation Center office and
will continue during office hours Monday through
Friday 9:00am-7:00pm as long as openings prevail.
Please bring your child’s birth certificate, baptismal
certificate or other proof of age.
You must also supply the most recent immunization
record before class begins in September.

Teachers implement small-group activities to
focus on skill-building, socializing and following
instructions.
Children are encouraged to learn through
play. Shapes, colors, letters and numbers will be
introduced in a classroom setting.
A warm, nurturing and positive school experience
is offered in our bright, inviting classroom!
If not toilet-trained, children must wear pull-ups
or diapers to the program and parent/caregiver
will be called to take care of “sanitary” issues that
arise during program time.
This deposit secures your child’s placement in our program.

the Winter Session (January through March), you
