1. Shell Helix Ultra SMS Instant Reward & “Exclusive Munich Experience Travel Package” Lucky Draw
Promotion (“Promotion”), organized by Shell Hong Kong Limited (“Shell”), shall commence on 12
April 2015 and expire on 31 August 2015 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”) at the
Authorized Automobile Service Centers listed below that use Shell Helix Ultra Fully Synthetic
Motor Oils in Hong Kong (“Authorized Automobile Service Centers”):
 BMW Concessionaires HK Ltd (Participating Car Manufacturers: BMW and Mini-Cooper)
 Crown Motors Limited (Participating Car Manufacturers: Toyota and Lexus)
 Wearnes Motors (HK) Limited(Participating Car Manufacturers: Volvo and Renault)
 Vang Iek Motors (Hong Kong) Limited (Participating Car Manufacturers: Mazda)
2. The Promotion is exclusively for private individual motorists who are permanent Hong Kong residents
aged 18 or above and are customers at the Authorized Automobile Service Centers using Shell Helix
Ultra Fully Synthetic Motor Oils for oil change services. Employees of Shell, its contractors, agents,
affiliates, advertising agencies, and their respective immediate family members are not eligible for
the Promotion (“Eligible Participants”).
3. To participate in the Promotion, an Eligible Participant is required to purchase a Shell Helix Ultra Fully
Synthetic Motor Oil Change Service (a “Service”) at an Authorized Automobile Service Center, and
send an SMS (a “Enrollment SMS”) containing a unique code to the designated mobile number
printed on the registration Card distributed to him/her by the Authorized Automobile Service Center.
Each purchase of a Service entitles an Eligible Participant to one (1) registration card containing a
unique registration code(a “Registration Code”) to send the enrollment SMS, which is only available
at the Authorized Automobile Service Centers. Each unique registration code entitles the Eligible
Participant to register and enter into two (2) lucky draws – 1) a lucky draw for an instant reward
(“Instant Lucky Draw”) and 2) a lucky draw for the First & Second prizes (“Mega Lucky Draw”).
4. The Promotion will last until depletion of all registration cards or the end of the Promotion Period.
Registration cards will not be re-printed after depletion of stocks at the respective Authorized
Automobile Service Centers. Stock levels of registration cards and their availability in various
Authorized Automobile Service Centers may differ.
5. The Eligible Participants are responsible for the costs incurred for sending Enrollment SMS to register
for the Promotion.
6. A notification SMS (a “notification SMS”) will be sent to the Eligible Participant within approximately
1 hour after the sending of the enrollment SMS. The notification SMS will acknowledge the successful
registration for both the Instant Lucky Draw and the Mega Lucky Draw, report the result of the
Instant lucky Draw and distribute the instant prize using an electronic format (if the Eligible
Participant wins an instant prize in the Instant Lucky Draw, please see below for more details).
7. Notification SMS will be sent only to the mobile numbers used in the correct submissions of the
registration codes. Eligible Participants sending an incorrect Registration Code will not receive any
notification SMS.
8. This Promotion is owned and operated wholly by Shell. Participating Authorized Automobile Service
Centers is not responsible for any loss or damage and delays in the delivery of the registration cards.
Shell is not responsible for any failure or delay in registrations for the Promotion, including any failure
or delay in sending or receiving the enrollment SMS or notification SMS due to technical or other
problems not under Shell’s reasonable control.
9. The Eligible Participants are obliged to confirm the successful submission of the enrollment SMS and
also entitled to inquire the status of their entry to the Instant Lucky Draw when a notification SMS is
not received within an hour after the sending of their Enrollment SMS.
A. About the Prizes of the SMS Instant Lucky Draw:
(1) First Instant Prize (Quota: 200 winners)
Shell Fuel Digital Coupons with value of HK$100
(2) Second Instant Prize (Quota: 400 winners)
Shell Fuel Digital Coupons with value of HK$50
 The coupons will be in a digital format stored in a unique hyperlink.
 The links to the digital coupons will be sent in an SMS to the mobile phone number of the SMS
sent by the Eligible Participant within 1 hour of the sending of the registration SMS sent by the
Eligible Participant
 Winners must be able to access the hyperlink in order to claim the prize
 Other Terms and Conditions apply. Please see details under “Terms and Conditions of the
Instant Prizes” below.
B. Prize Presentation of the Instant Lucky Draw:
1. 24,000 registration cards containing a unique registration code will be printed, among which
600 codes are pre-assigned to be a winning code for a First Instant Prize or a Second Instant
Prize.
2. The notification SMS replied to the Eligible Participants will contain the hyperlink to the
digital e-voucher if the registration code registered is a winning code.
3. Winners of the Instant Lucky Draw will not be separately informed except for the
notification SMS
C. Terms and Conditions for the Instant Prizes:
The holder of the digital copy of the coupon is entitled to Shell fuel products of equivalent value
from any Shell Filling or Service Station in the territory of Hong Kong, subject to the following:
1. The coupon, if presented in an electronic device, must be shown to Shell Staff in the premises
of Shell Convenience Stores as required by the Shell Safety Rules.
2. The coupon, if presented in a printed copy, can be passed to Shell Staff in the re-filling zone
before refueling.
3. The coupon can only be redeemed from 7am to 11pm daily and will expire on December 31,
2015.
4. The coupon has a unique digital code and can only be used once.
5. The coupon is not applicable to Auto LPG and Lube products, or non-fuel products.
6. The coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
7. The coupon is not redeemable for cash.
8. Only for entitlement of fuel products of Shell list price prevailing at the time of redemption.
9. The coupon cannot be used at all Shell airport stations.
10. The coupon would not be accepted when the unique code of the coupon is found to have
been used or validated before.
11. In the event of any dispute, Shell Hong Kong Ltd. reserves the right of final decision.
D. Prizes of the Mega Lucky Draw:
(1) First Prize (Quota: 1 winner)
The First Prize entitles 1 individual to participate in the “Exclusive Munich Experience Travel
Package” with the full package of an approximate value guaranteed no less than HK$50,000*.
Period: 28-31 October, 2015 (4 Days 3 Nights)
Location: Munich
The full package shall include:
 Exclusive sight-seeing tours – itinerary to be confirmed and announced in September 2015
 Premium hotel accommodation and meals in Munich for 4 days & 3 nights
 Economy class round-trip flight tickets from HK to Munich
 Other Terms & Conditions will be announced and shared with the First Prize Winner before
he/she accepts receiving this First Prize. ** Other information and documents may be
required to be provided by the winner.
* Value based on aggregation of the costs of the major items included in the package.
** The First Prize Winner can redeem the First Prize in person or nominate another individual to
do so. He/She will be deemed as forfeiting the right to redeem the First Prize if he/she chooses
to reject or does not claim the prize before 15 September, 2015. The First Prize Winner is not
allowed to redeem the Second Prize or any other prizes under this circumstance.
(2) Second Prize (Quota:2 winners)
Shell V-power Fuel Coupons with value of HK$2,500
 The coupons will be in printed copies
 The coupons must be collected by the winner or a representative appointed by the winner
from a designated premises by Shell
E. Prize Presentation of the Mega Lucky Draw:
1. The draw to select the Prizes’ recipients from the Mega Lucky Draw will be conducted by
Shell based on a pre-determined system and will be held on September 4 2015.
2. Additional 10 Eligible Participants will be also drawn to redeem any Unclaimed Prizes on
September 4 2015.
3. Winners of the Mega Lucky Draw for the Grand and Second Prizes will be notified via
telephone call from representatives of Shell. Calls may be recorded for audit purpose.
4. A Winner of the Grand / Second Prizes must present his/her identity supporting
documentation as reasonably requested by Shell and the licence number of the vehicle
using the oil change service at the Authorized Service Centers. Provision of personal
information is necessary for the redemption but winners’ consent will be solicited before
the sharing of the personal information with the respective Authorized Service Centers for
verification purposes. If the winner is found not to be a customer of the Authorized
Automobile Service Centers participating in this Promotion, his/her right to redeem the
prize will be revoked.
5. Winners of the Lucky draw for the Grand and Second prizes will be responsible to collect the
prizes upon acknowledgement of their winning status. The collection at the Kwun Tong
office of Shell on or before 30 September 2015 in accordance with the terms and conditions
printed on the participation card, failing which the prize will be forfeited (Unclaimed Prize)
at the following address:
35/F AIA Kowloon Tower, Landmark East, 100 How Ming Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong
Kong.
6. Collection of the First Prize will be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be
notified to the winner at the time of collection of the prize. If a Winner fails to accept
his/her prize for any reason, he/she is not eligible to receive the prize of the next highest
monetary value or other prizes.
F. Additional Terms and Conditions for the Second Prize:
The coupon entitles the bearer to Shell V-Power fuel products from any Shell Filling or Service Station in
the territory of Hong Kong, subject to the following:
1. The coupon must be presented before refueling.
2. The coupon is not applicable to Auto LPG and Lube products and fuel-save products and
other non-fuel products.
3. The coupon cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.
4. The coupon is not redeemable for cash.
5. Expired, defaced or altered coupon will not be accepted or exchanged
6. In the event of any dispute, Shell Hong Kong Ltd. reserves the right of final decision.
7. Expiration date will be printed on the coupon.
G. Other Terms & Conditions that are applicable to the Instant Lucky Draw and the Mega Lucky
Draw:
1. All eligible participants can enter the Mega Lucky Draw regardless of their winning status in
the Instant Lucky Draw.
2. The full list of the Winners from the Mega Lucky Draw will also be announced in Sing Tao
Daily and The Standard on 10 September 2015 while winners from the Instant Lucky Draw
will be notified by notification SMS only.
3. All the prizes under this Promotion cannot be transferred to other parties, redeemed or
exchanged for cash, credit or any other items with Shell or the Authorized Automobile
Service Centers, or be exchanged for other prizes of the Promotion (even of lesser value). If
Winners do not accept their drawn prizes, or cannot make use or enjoy the prizes under the
Promotion for any reason, Shell shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred or
suffered in relation thereto.
4. Shell reserves the right of final decision in case of disputes.
5. In the event of any inconsistencies between the English and Chinese versions of these terms
and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
H. Privacy Policy:
1. All personal information collected under the Promotion will only be used for the purposes of
the Promotion and will be handled and disposed of in accordance with the Personal Data
(Privacy) Ordinance (chapter 486). Provision of personal information is voluntary. If a
participant does not provide all the required personal information on the contest form,
he/she will not be able to participate in the lucky draw. If a participant provides personal
data of another person to Shell, Shell will consider that all necessary consent to such
provision has been obtained. All other terms and conditions relating to the collection and
use of personal information can be found at Shell’s Privacy Policy.
