Suleyman Demirel, regarding introduction of Turkish International Educational Foundation also laid the stone of Afghan -Turk CAG Educational (ATOE) Non -Government Organization in Afghanistan. The name of Head quarters of ATOE is CAG Education and is located in Istanbul, Turkey. The word, "CAG" being used in the name of the ACTE is taken from our Headquarters name, which is a Turkish word, meaning "era" or "time" and pronounced as "cha ". Head Office -ATOE It has more than 260 international educational institutions worldwide besides about 300 inside Republic of Turkey. These are providing quality education to the students worldwide. H.E. Bozkurt Aran, the Ex- Ambassador Embassy of Republic of Turkey, Pakistan with Mr. Halit ESENDIR, Chairman, appreciating the excellent work of the ATCE. STATUS ATCE is registered as an International non -government organization (NGO) with the Government of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan with a view to alleviate the educational and human sufferings of the Afghans. It is working in Afghanistan since 1995. Its efforts have always been appreciated by the Government and the people of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. ATOE opened its educational activities in Afghanistan. The first ever Turkish international school was established with the name of, "Afghanistan- Turkiye Dostluk International High School ", in Shebergan, Jawjan. There is a regular exchange of views and ideas for continuous improvement of the educational and administration system of the ATCE. ATCE regularly attends educational meetings in the office of the Agency Coordination Body for Afghan Refugees (ACBAR). This meeting is also attended by a number of representatives from various European, American, British, Afghan and Pakistani non -government organizations. ATCE is also thankful to ICRC for helping Turkish Staff -free movements to their educational institutes inside Afghanistan. Every student is regularly interviewed and helped in the field, it is desired most suitable for him. SPECIAL RELIEF MEASURES' All education, food, dresses, boarding, lodging, stationary, health services, text books and other miscellaneous living / educational facilities are being provided free of cost, in view of economic hardships of the Afghans. ANNUAL IFTAR SAYYAM PROGRAM This is a regular annual relief event since last over six years. A large number of poor and needy Afghan nationals are given the meals during the Holy month of Ramazan. Students are given a vary special diet during this month. Afghan refugees in countries like Pakistan are also specially remembered during these Iftar programs. ANNUAL AZHA QURBANI PROGRAM A large number of cows are slaughtered every year on Eid -ul -Azha. For example, 400 cows were only slaughtered during the Eid -2000: The meat is distributed among the Afghans and the refugees in Afghanistan and Pakistan. 48 cows were slaughtered in Pakistan during Eid2000 and the Afghan Refugees in Pakistan were the main beneficiaries of their meat. During Eid -ul -Azha, 2000 Membership of the ATCE (NGO) Rules & Regulations Following are the general rules and regulations for the membership: so. Membership is opened to all nationals of the world. Membership form can be acquired through the address of the NGO Age bracket for eligibility is 19- 75 years; High school education is a must. Require to pay a certain amount of monthly /annual donation; Must not have past history of being convicted; ;ó. Must have familiarities to Afghani or Turkish cultural and educational norms, problems and development issues. Daha sonra bu hastaneye kizilay heyetide geldi 25000$ ilaç yardimi yapildi. Kuzey Afganistanda Taliban yönetimi misafirhanesinden ba5ka kalacak yer olmadigi için Büyükelçi ve yanindaki heyet 2 gece Mezar-i Serifteki okul binasinin misafirhanesinde agirlandilar. Sayin Büyükelçi Aydemir ERMAN Beyin tavsiyeleri üzerine Kuzey Afganistan Özbek-Türkmen bölgesinde 4 tane okulun bulunmasinin Taliban yönetiminin rahatsizli6ina sebeb olabilece6i ihtimaline binaen Kabil' den sonra Kandahar' da da okul açmaya karar verildi. 1999 ekim ayinda Kandahar' da verilen okul binasi 5 ayda tamamlanak nisan 2000' da Zarguna ana Afgan-Türk Lisesi olarak 3 Türk ögretmen, 5 Afgan ögretmen ve 100 talebe ile e6itim ö6retime ba5Iadi. Ilk açilan Sibirgan ve Mezar-i Serifteki okullarimiz Anadolu Lisesi müfredatini, Mezar-i Serifte ikinci binada e6itime ba5Iayan Semengan Mucteba Ali Lisesi Anadolu I.H.L. müfredatini uyguladi. Agustos 1998 de Taliban yönetimi Kuzey Afganistan' i kontrol altina almasindan sonra yapilan antla5ma gere6i bütün okullardaki e0itim ögretimi Anadolu IHL gibi e6itim ögretim yapmaya ba5landi. Yapilan bu anla§maya göre eski yönetimin kabul etti6i Afgan talim sistemini bütün okullarimizda uygulamaya b4adik. Bu sistem ile Türkiyedeki Anadolu IHL gibi e6itim ögretìmi yapmaya b4adik Bu sistemde hazirlik sinifi olmadigi içín antla5maya göre ögleden sonra her hafta 14 saat ingilizce verilmektedir. 06renciler ilk yil sadece ingilizce, diger yillarda ingilizce ve Matematik, Fìzìk, Kimya, Biyoloji ve Bilgisayar dersierini ingilizce olarak Türk egitimcileri tarafindan verilmeye devam edilmektedir. Türkçe dersieri Afgan müfredatinda yabanci lisan olarak okutulmaya basIandi.
