www.quizlet.com – This allows you to make your own flashcards digitally and automatically
creates tests for you. You can also look through thousands of other people’s flashcards.
www.selfcontolapp.com – This allows you to block any websites that distract you (Facebook,
Twitter, YouTube etc.)
www.noisli.com – Turn off the music and turn on ambient sounds. Noisli is great for this. It
provides background noise such as the sea, rain or coffee shop chatter to boost your
concentration. Whereas listening to music with lyrics can actually impair the memorization
process.
www.youtube.com - Type keywords/topics/subjects into YouTube and it is likely you will find a
video on that area. YouTube channel Crash Course offers lots of easy to understand mini guides
to literature, biology, history etc.
www.examtime.com – This allows you to create online maps, flashcards, notes and quizzes. It is
easy to create your online study resources, share them and store in one place. It also has a tool to
create private study groups, calendars and plans.

your question and answer and the website does the rest!
