Adriano is an experienced and influential investor in the Brazilian
real estate market. He is currently CEO of BC Fund, Brazil’s
largest publicly-listed Brazilian REIT. He also holds the position of
Executive Director responsible for commercial real estate
investment at BTG Pactual, an investment bank, asset manager
and wealth manager with more than R$ 215 billion in assets under
management.
Adriano has extensive experience managing property portfolios,
from acquisition, lease management and property maintenance, to
exit strategies for investors. He has taken a leading role in recent
innovation in the real estate capital markets in Brazil, including
creating the first Brazilian REIT (BC Fund), and presiding over its
IPO, the biggest ever in the Brazilian market for FIIs. In addition,
Adriano was part of the first FIP (private investment fund) investing
in residential development projects, and in 2006 he structured the
first non-performing Residential Mortgage Backed Security (CRI).
In 2010 he structured and managed the first fund of real estate
funds listed on the Brazilian stock exchange.
Adriano is also a driver of innovation in investor relations: BC Fund
was the first FII to have a dedicated IR team generating monthly
reports, quarterly releases and research coverage.
A recognized industry leader for FIIs and real estate investments,
Adriano has spoken at conferences in Brazil, the US and Europe,
including Markets Group (Latin Market), GRI, and CEO Bank
Conference.
