Three-day Closing Disclosure rule
Timeline for mailing and receiving the Closing Disclosure (CD) before closing
Choose the day of the scheduled closing to see when the Closing Disclosure (CD) will be mailed by the lender and received by the homebuyer.
The CD will be received at least three days before the closing.
Note: If a federal holiday falls in the three-day period, add a day for disclosure delivery.

Important tips
• Some changes require a new CD, which would reset the three-day review period and will change the closing date. These changes include:
- The APR changes more than 1/8% for most loans
- The loan product changes
- A prepayment penalty is added
• Other changes can be disclosed without requiring a new three-day review period.
