(i) By all students. To be submitted as per Form ‘A’
(enclosed)quoting your monthly income from all sources for
Apr 2015 including income of your wife and son/ward, if
any, duly countersigned by the Gazetted Officer of any Govt
Department. (Original with one xerox copy)
(ii) By children of Salaried Class of Parents. A salary
certificate as per Form ‘B’ (enclosed) is also to be submitted,
in addition to Form ‘A’. (Original with one xerox copy)

(i) With Board of Governors (for all parents). To be typed
on non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs 100/- (Rupees hundred
only) duly countersigned by any Central / State Govt.
Gazetted Officer.
(ii) With the Govt of Maharashtra- ( for parents of
Scholarship holders only). To be typed on non-judicial
Stamp Paper of Rs 100/- (Rupees hundred only).
(e)
(iii) Affidavit by Parent (Regarding ragging)- To be typed on
non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 100/- (Rupees Hundred only)
duly countersigned by Taluka Magistrate/Notary and
(iv)Undertaking by the cadet on plain paper.
(v) Indemnity Certificate by the Parents on plain paper.
Note :- Cancellation of agreement bond with State Govt.
and with Board of Governors unilaterally by the parents
will amount to breach of contract/agreement and thereby
withdrawal of
the cadet on “Parents Request”, and
accordingly Parents will be liable for refund of entire
scholarship enjoyed by the cadet alongwith 10% penalty to
the school.
(f) Caste Certificate of the Candidate and his parents (Father
and Mother). SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC/SBC boys are required to submit
the Caste Certificate of their own and their parents (Father and
Mother) in ORIGINAL duly issued by the Sub Divisional Officer only,
alongwith two attested xerox copies. It may be noted that, if it is
found at any later stage that the boy does not belong to the
particular caste from which he was selected, he will immediately be
discharged from the School and suitable disciplinary action will be
initiated. The original caste certificate will be returned immediately
after verification.
(g)Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-Servicemen. In addition to the
documents at Para 2 (a) to (f), the serving Armed Forces and ExServicemen are to produce the following documents:(i)

father and mother of the boy with their name, address and signature
duly attested by the Govt Gazetted Officer as per proforma at
Appendix „C‟. Further, at the time of admission, the signaturee
should be present.

your son to be given to the House Matron of the House in which
your ward will be admitted and also one full screen photograph
(post card size ie 4”x 6” of your son for office records).
(k)Envelopes. :- 05 self-addressed envelopes of 9”x4”size, to be
submitted by parents.
(l)Blood Group:-Blood group report (02 copies) in respect of your son.
(m)Aadhar Card & Birth Certificate :- ORIGINAL Aadhar
Card/Birth Certificate alongwith(02 attested copies) in respect of your
son. Original aadhar card & Birth Certificate will be returned after
scrutiny.
(NOTE-: Final admission will be given only, if the above documents
are in order and the date of admission mentioned at Para 2 above will
not be extended under any circumstances).

The State Government awards merit scholarships to the Maharashtra
State domicile cadets who obtain first ten ranks in the Sainik School
Entrance Examination merit list irrespective of their parents monthly
income . However, this scholarship will be applicable for that particular
academic year only and the cadet will be eligible for continuation of
this merit scholarship every year, only if he maintains his position within
the first ten ranks in the subsequent years as well. In case he fails to do
so, School fees will be charged for the cadet based on the parents/guardians
monthly income. An amount of Rs 16,000/- (Rs Sixteen thousand only)
approximately will be given by Ministry of Defence to all cadets (except
SC/ST/VJ/ NT/SBC students who will be SWD scholarship holders)
studying in Sainik School irrespective of their income with effect from
2010-11.

It may be noted that your income certificate will be verified at all
levels. In case of any false information noticed at any stage, appropriate
legal action will be initiated and the cadet will be treated as full fee paying
student from the date of joining the school.
5.
Payment of Fees, Clothing charges, Extra Clothing, Messing,
Caution Money, Pocket Money and Miscellaneous Charges :- The details
of various payments to the School at the time of admission, are enclosed at
Appendix „A‟. Tuition fee is payable in one lump sum or in half yearly/qtrly
instalments alongwith all other charges mentioned at Sr 2 to 7 of Appendix
‘A’ initially at the time of admission without which admission cannot be
given. The amount should be remitted by DEMAND DRAFT ONLY drawn in
favour of the Principal , Sainik School, Satara, of any Nationalised Bank
payable at Satara. The defaulters cadets in payment of fees will be
charged fine and may be liable for withdrawal from the school as per
Sainik Schools Society Rules. A list of clothing items and other essential
articles to be brought by the cadets is enclosed at Appendix „B‟.
46.
If you fail to take admission of your son/ward on the date given at
para 2 above or if any of the conditions / instructions given vide this
letter are not completed/complied with , your son / ward will not be

regard. Postal delay will not be accepted as a reason for reporting late for

of the candidate, in ORIGINAL, issued by the Executive
Magistrate / Tahsildar alongwith one attested xerox copy.
The original certificate will be returned immediately after

Income Certificate.
(i) By all students. To be submitted as per Form ‘A’
(enclosed)quoting your monthly income from all sources for
Apr 2015 including income of your wife and son/ward, if
any, duly countersigned by the Gazetted Officer of any Govt
Department. (Original with one xerox copy)
(ii) By children of Salaried Class of Parents. A salary
certificate as per Form ‘B’ (enclosed) is also to be submitted,
in addition to Form ‘A’. (Original with one xerox copy)

(i) With Board of Governors (for all parents). To be typed
on non-judicial Stamp Paper of Rs 100/- (Rupees hundred
only) duly countersigned by any Central / State Govt.
Gazetted Officer.
(ii) With the Govt of Maharashtra- ( for parents of
Scholarship holders only). To be typed on non-judicial
Stamp Paper of Rs 100/- (Rupees hundred only).
(e)
(iii) Affidavit by Parent (Regarding ragging)- To be typed on
non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 100/- (Rupees Hundred only)
duly countersigned by Taluka Magistrate/Notary and
(iv)Undertaking by the cadet on plain paper.
(v) Indemnity Certificate by the Parents on plain paper.
Note :- Cancellation of agreement bond with State Govt.
and with Board of Governors unilaterally by the parents
will amount to breach of contract/agreement and thereby
withdrawal of
the cadet on “Parents Request”, and
accordingly Parents will be liable for refund of entire
scholarship enjoyed by the cadet alongwith 10% penalty to
the school.
(f) Caste Certificate of the Candidate and his parents (Father
and Mother). SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC/SBC boys are required to submit
the Caste Certificate of their own and their parents (Father and
Mother) in ORIGINAL duly issued by the Sub Divisional Officer only,
alongwith two attested xerox copies. It may be noted that, if it is
found at any later stage that the boy does not belong to the
particular caste from which he was selected, he will immediately be
discharged from the School and suitable disciplinary action will be
initiated. The original caste certificate will be returned immediately
after verification.
(g)Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-Servicemen. In addition to the
documents at Para 2 (a) to (f), the serving Armed Forces and ExServicemen are to produce the following documents:(i)

father and mother of the boy with their name, address and signature
duly attested by the Govt Gazetted Officer as per proforma at
Appendix „C‟. Further, at the time of admission, the signaturee
should be present.
-3(j) Photographs of your son- Five passport size photographs of
your son to be given to the House Matron of the House in which
your ward will be admitted and also one full screen photograph
(post card size ie 4”x 6” of your son for office records).
(k)Envelopes. :- 05 self-addressed envelopes of 9”x4”size, to be
submitted by parents.
(l)Blood Group:-Blood group report (02 copies) in respect of your son.
(m)Aadhar Card & Birth Certificate :- ORIGINAL Aadhar
Card/Birth Certificate alongwith(02 attested copies) in respect of your
son. Original aadhar card & Birth Certificate will be returned after
scrutiny.
(NOTE-: Final admission will be given only, if the above documents
are in order and the date of admission mentioned at Para 2 above will
not be extended under any circumstances).

The State Government awards merit scholarships to the Maharashtra
State domicile cadets who obtain first ten ranks in the Sainik School
Entrance Examination merit list irrespective of their parents monthly
income . However, this scholarship will be applicable for that particular
academic year only and the cadet will be eligible for continuation of
this merit scholarship every year, only if he maintains his position within
the first ten ranks in the subsequent years as well. In case he fails to do
so, School fees will be charged for the cadet based on the parents/guardians
monthly income. An amount of Rs 16,000/- (Rs Sixteen thousand only)
approximately will be given by Ministry of Defence to all cadets (except
SC/ST/VJ/ NT/SBC students who will be SWD scholarship holders)
studying in Sainik School irrespective of their income with effect from
2010-11.

It may be noted that your income certificate will be verified at all
levels. In case of any false information noticed at any stage, appropriate
legal action will be initiated and the cadet will be treated as full fee paying
student from the date of joining the school.
5.
Payment of Fees, Clothing charges, Extra Clothing, Messing,
Caution Money, Pocket Money and Miscellaneous Charges :- The details
of various payments to the School at the time of admission, are enclosed at
Appendix „A‟. Tuition fee is payable in one lump sum or in half yearly/qtrly
instalments alongwith all other charges mentioned at Sr 2 to 7 of Appendix
‘A’ initially at the time of admission without which admission cannot be
given. The amount should be remitted by DEMAND DRAFT ONLY drawn in
favour of the Principal , Sainik School, Satara, of any Nationalised Bank
payable at Satara. The defaulters cadets in payment of fees will be
charged fine and may be liable for withdrawal from the school as per
Sainik Schools Society Rules. A list of clothing items and other essential
articles to be brought by the cadets is enclosed at Appendix „B‟.
46.
If you fail to take admission of your son/ward on the date given at
para 2 above or if any of the conditions / instructions given vide this
letter are not completed/complied with , your son / ward will not be
admitted and no further correspondence will be entertained in this
regard. Postal delay will not be accepted as a reason for reporting late for
admission.

this merit scholarship every year, only if he maintains his position within
the first ten ranks in the subsequent years as well. In case he fails to do
so, School fees will be charged for the cadet based on the parents/guardians
monthly income. An amount of Rs 16,000/- (Rs Sixteen thousand only)
approximately will be given by Ministry of Defence to all cadets (except
SC/ST/VJ/ NT/SBC students who will be SWD scholarship holders)
studying in Sainik School irrespective of their income with effect from
2010-11.
