and Confirmation weekends.
Funds will be used to help
offset costs to upcoming

After a long cold streak the warmth is
finally here!! I hope you find time to
get outside with your family and
friends and enjoy the weather.
Who is the youth?
The answer to last months
question about the name of
the young lady who is a
competitive dancer and also
leads us in song at youth mass
is Amanda.
This month see if you can tell
me the name of the young
man who is a classically trained
pianist and leads us in song.
Mustard Seed
Please keep our volunteers in
mind and help out if you can
this month by donating food.
May
This month the youth ministry is
preparing for a music and prayer night
on June 7th. Details will follow in the bulletin as we get closer to
the actual date. Please keep our youth in mind as they prepare
and then when you see the announcement, come join us. It is
great to see the leadership our younger parishioners provide and
it will be even better to see families support them by attending as
they perhaps try something new. As always if you are interested in
joining the youth ministry or music group in any capacity please
contact Kevin Cusack after 9 am mass or via the rectory. Thank
you!
Confirmation this Sunday
When you next see our teen confirmation candidates they will be
confirmed members of our parish. Please recognize them when
you see them around town and get to know them in order to
build their adult faith community.
Please also thank all the adult volunteers who have worked so
hard in preparing them for this day. We are forever grateful for
the dedication of our religious education ministers. As always, if
you enjoy teaching, please see Father Niccolls and let him know
you are interested in volunteering to serve in this role. Having
witnessed the value of good engaging teachers firsthand, students
get far more out of the lessons each class and miss fewer classes
overall. So dust off the teaching shoes and come join us!

Members of the Youth Ministry spent time
this month volunteering with Working for
Worcester. WfW is a group started three
years ago by two Holy Cross college
students. In one day, more than 1,000
volunteers descended on Worcester to
restore parks, build playgrounds and clean
up local schools. Funding was provided by
many of our local companies. Thanks to all
that volunteered!
