The Student Screening program exposes Philadelphia
school students to powerful films, connecting them to
the filmmakers and providing them the opportunity
to respond by sharing their written reviews on the
PFS blog. Funding for this program is provided by the
Wyncote Foundation and the Pennsylvania Education
Improvement Tax Credit Program.

MOVIES ON THE BLOCK
Movies on the Block initiative is an accessibility and
participation-focused screening program that provides
Philadelphia residents the opportunity to engage with relevant
programming curated by the Philadelphia Film Society at
established community gathering spaces with outreach. This
program is funded in part by the Fierce Advocacy Fund.
