DIOCESAN SUPPORT APPEAL: SHARING GOD’S GIFTS
“Pay it Forward with Hope, Give Back with Gratitude.”
Our parish assessments for this important
collection are: St. Mary $23,386.44 and Christ
the King $4,200.29. Thank you for your
continued generosity in the DSA.
OFFERTORY REPORTING IN BULLETIN
Starting in April, the parish will report the total offertory
collection for one month at a time. Additionally, the monthly
parish operating budget will be printed. Parishioners will now
be able to understand better the monthly financial picture of
their parish family—just like most families plan and budget.
—Fr. Kottar
PATRIOTIC COUPON PROGRAM
The Knights of Columbus are sponsoring a “Patriotic Coupon
Program” to help our servicemen and women. Just clip current or
expired manufacturers’ coupons and drop them in the coupon box
in the narthex. Please make sure they are cut coupons not sheets.
Thank you!
NOW HIRING
TELERX in Kings Mountain is hiring Nurses (LPN or RN)

SEMINARY AND PRIESTS’ CONTINUING EDUCATION
We ask your generous support and response to the second
collection which will be taken in all churches of our diocese on
Easter weekend. This collection will help meet the needs of our
Seminary and Priests’ Continuing Education programs. We
currently have 18 young men studying for the priesthood in
various seminaries. We look forward to the time when they will be
able to begin their service as priests in the Diocese of Charlotte.
MEET RCIA CATECHUMEN JUSTIN CLARK
Justin Clark will become a member of our Catholic family at
the Easter Vigil Mass. His mother, Tina Clark, was brought into
the Catholic Faith two years ago and has led her son to the Church.
Justin, a junior at Cherryville High School, is at the top of his class
academically and is a gifted athlete! His proud parents say he is
very close to achieving his Eagle Scout and works hard at his job at
Pelican’s Snoballs. Send your prayers heavenward for Justin as we
approach the Easter Vigil and Justin's most happy day.
