Report on NCACCT-15
The Department of Information Science & Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering of
SVIT, organized VTU Sponsored two days National Conference on advances in computing &
Communication Technologies (NCACCT-15) during 28th and 29th April 2015.
The National Conference on advances in computing & Communication Technologies (NCACCT15) addressed the rapid strides and technological advancements currently witnessed in the fields
of Computer Science, Information Technology, and Communication Engineering. The
conference was intended to provide a forum for researchers from academia and industry to
convene and swap over the ideas and recent research work on advanced topics.
A Team of Renowned Professors accepted our request to be a Part of Advisory Board and
Technical program Committee.

Conference Brochure was sent to all the engineering colleges across India. We got wonderful
response from these colleges. We received 104 papers. All these papers were scrutinized at two
levels.
At the first level all the papers were subjected to plagiarism check by using viper Plagiarism
checker software. In order to maintain the conference standard, percentage of plagiarism level in
the paper is restricted to 25%.
At the second level, Papers were peer reviewed by well known professors from various colleges.

Based on the plagiarism Percentage and review comments totally 62 papers were accepted for
conference. I am pleased to inform you that the acceptance percentage of NCACCT-15 is just
60%. Among these 62 papers 39 authors registered and presenting their papers in these two days.
All these papers are published in International Journal of Engineering Research and Technology
with the ISSN No. 2278-0181
The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Venugopal K R, Principal UVCE. He delivered keynote
address on the future trends on technologies. Inauguration function was presided by Prof. M R
Holla, Director, SVIT, Bangalore. Dr. H S Ramesh Babu, Principal, SVIT, Bangalore delivered
the welcome speech.
