The directors provided a fun and accessible atmosphere for musicians of all ages. Adam Kilo Akron Symphony’s String Ensemble Experience exceeded my expectations, mainly because we were challenged slightly out of our comfort zones but at a level we could succeed. Five days gives you a chance to make substantive change. String participant, 2014 It was both a fun and challenging week. The coaches were very professional, cared about every student and chose literature to specifically challenge each participant. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to make new friends who also like to play chamber music. Betsy Frasure, string participant 2012, 2013 As an adult participant, my goals were to improve as a player and as an established quartet. I gained a lot from the experience and am glad I participated. Our coach was very helpful and gave the right amount of encouragement. String participant, 2014 Eurhythmics provides a singer with greater rhythmic accuracy and an expanded feel of musical interpretation. Brenda Justice s u m m i t c h o r a l s o c i e t y. o r g
