Let’s Take a Hike ~ Everyone is welcome
Sheri Shevey
9:30 am, Saturday, August 8; rain date is Saturday, August 18
Donations Appreciated…
Join us for a walk/hike to the beautiful Lye Brook Falls, one of the highest falls in Vermont. The
hike is 4.6 miles round trip with moderate stretches of ups and downs. It should take us three to
four hours depending on the group. I would like to leave the Courthouse at 9:30 with a plan to
get to the falls for a nice leisurely lunch. There are a few stream crossings which can be tricky if
there has been a lot of rain, so appropriate foot wear is important. I will bring hiking poles to
borrow to make the crossings easier. Also needed are snacks and a trail lunch and plenty of fluids
to drink.
