The Lions Bay 55+ Club has some exciting activities planned for May!
In order to make it happen, we do need people to sign.
Please let us know your interests so that we can keep on bringing
these fun and informative programs to Lions Bay.
Wednesday, May 6 1pm – 2pm Thursday, May 14 6pm – 9pm Wednesday, May 20 11am – 3pm Thursday, May 28 7pm – 8:30pm -­‐ Introduction to Tai Chi Tai Chi Instructor Josie will present the many benefits of Tai Chi and demonstrate some basic movements. YES [ ] -­‐ Pizza, Programs and Cards We’re setting up tables to introduce future activities and programs followed by a pizza dinner and a fun game of crib/bridge or a card game of your choice. YES [ ] -­‐ Squamish Mini Golf and Lunch A fun outing to Squamish for a round of mini golf followed by a delicious catered lunch. YES [ ] We can provide bus transportation at the supplemental cost of $15/person. Please indicate that you would require this service .
YES [ ] -­‐ Building a Better Brain Neuro-­‐Psychologist Dr. Larissa Mead-­‐Wescott will introduce the Memory and Aging program designed to help older adults learn what is normal in terms of changes in memory functioning and strategies to help with promoting brain health.
