Alice Hansen,
Psykologprogrammet
What question do you find most important?
Equality issues
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have experience in working as a student representative at the Department of Psychology,
specifically in trying to make sure that the programs and courses offered there are up to
standards regarding gender-, social-, discrimination- and equality issues. This is something
that I will bring to the RA.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I am a volunteer at Red Cross, working with elderly. I have also been the chairperson of
Lundapsykologernas Education Committee, as well as a student representative in the board
of the Department of Psychology, the board of the Psychologist program, and in the
committee for equality and diversity at the department of psychology.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Andrea H. Bustos,
Social work
What question do you find most important?
Students’ right to influence their education. There are
numerous things that are miss functioning today and I
believe that it is our right as students to express our
opinions about it and to put pressure on the institution to
make the changes we want to see. After all, it is our
education, not theirs, right?
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Commitment, relevant experience and positive energy.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Board member in "Socionomsektionen", board member of the organization "Fler Unga"
whose aim is the increase of young people´s political influence, employee at the organization
"Nätaktivisterna" where I educate high school students in anti-rasism and activism. Former
president of the Student body of Globala Gymnasiet.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Anna Clara Örtendahl,
Political Science
What question do you find most important?
It's important to increase awareness of the union
among the students in order to attract more
people to get involved and improve their
education. The union should be an organisation
that everybody knows about and wants to be a
part of.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Thanks to my role as the chairperson of the Education Committee I have gained insights that
would be of great use in the representative assembly.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Meeting new people from other cultures gives one new perspectives, which allows one to
think outside the box and have innovative and diverse ideas. This is something I have had
the privilege to do while I have been active in the European Youth Parliament.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
No
Anna Dahlberg,
Psychology programme
What question do you find most important?
I find student representation and student influence the most
engaging questions, especially how students can be involved in
decision making at different levels. Questions I find important
right now are student representation in the nominating
committees of the head of departments and how the systems for
recruitment to university studies may be structured to be
beneficial for more groups of society.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Experience as student representative (department board of the institution of psychology, the
steering group of the psychology programme and the course plan group). My involvement in
the education committee have given me a broader perspective of the social science union as
a whole. I also think my interest in student representation can be of benefit for RA, I would
focus my work at questions related to that.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I'm a member of the board of F! Helsingborg.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Arvid Wallin,
Service Management - Campus Helsingborg
What question do you find most important?
Quality of curriculum, job opportunities after studies.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
A perspective on Campus Helsingborg from a student living in Lund
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Spegatspexet VT15 and AGORA at Campus Helsingborg
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Axel Edling,
Peace- and Conflict Studies (Political Science)
What question do you find most important?
I have decided to candidate for the Social Sciences Student Union
Representative Assembly for much the same reasons as I decided to
get active in the union a year ago. I firmly believe that as we as
students make up a crucial part of the Faculty of Social Sciences we
have a right to have a say both in academic matters and in the day to
day running of the faculty. But, with such a right comes a responsibility to use it. Though
student representation, transparency and internal democracy in general are all very close to
my heart, the issues in which I find myself most engaged and/or opinionated are those
relating to academics and internationalization. I believe no explanation should be needed as
for why I find academic matters incredibly important, but to sum it up it relates much to my
above points as well as to the fact that we are primarily here to learn. Internationalization is
something I believe to be very important in order to form a world-class learning environment
and remain competitive globally as well as for personal growth. However, I feel like it is too
often just thrown around as merely another buzzword and I believe that it is important that
the university and the faculty, starting with us - the students, make up our minds as to what
internationalization actually means to us. It should not be in any way unreasonable to expect
that a faculty wishing to internationalize itself would start by teaching courses which are
included in its education programs, also those at the Bachelors level, in English so as to
make those courses more open and accessible to international students as well as to provide
domestic students with the international learning environment we like to brag about having.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Having previously studied in Germany, Norway and the US I believe that, in a way and to a
certain extent, I can understand and take on both the perspectives of a domestic and an
international student. Furthermore, having already been active in other parts of the union (as
a member of the education committee and a student representative at the board of the
Department of Political Science) I already bring with me an understanding, of the union and
its workings as well as knowledge and experience in more specific areas. I believe that I
would be able to contribute to the fruitful debate and continued development and
improvement of the union and of our situation as students by synthesizing these perspectives
and by my love of open discussion and lack of hesitance to speak my mind, even when I
might be wrong. But also by my ability to accept when that is the case and reevaluate my
previous stance.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Apart from my previous positions within the union I have also been an active member of the
current affairs committee of LUPEF for a period of time. Before coming to study in Lund I
have been involved in a range of organizations and activities ranging from Amnesty
International to MUN clubs (I still try to go to conferences whenever I find ones that accept
single unaffiliated participants) to hosting a late night show on a student radio station. What
this says about me I will leave up to others to determine, but a recurring common factor has
been the social element and the connection to current affairs or societal issues.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Clara Leanderson,
Politices kandidat
What question do you find most important?
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Analytiskt tänkande, problemlösning och engagemang.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Just nu sitter jag som ordförande för LUPEF och har därför en nära relation till polkandstudenterna och det tror jag är positivt för denna post!
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Don’t know
Emil Nilsson,
Service Management
What question do you find most important?
There is actually several important questions, but the most
important one is to make the Union a strong voice at the
Faculty and the University. To do so it is important that
student representatives are present at meeting where
decisions are made. We need more student representatives
that could listen and debate for better student rights at the
Faculty. Otherwise the implementation of the List of Student
Rights at the departments is a question that I think is important.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I'm a member of the present RA, which means that I could contribute with continuity in the
RA. But foremost I will be a spokesperson for the students and members of the Union at
Campus Helsingborg.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I have during this year been a member of the RA, together with several other engagements.
I'm President of Samhällsvetarkårens Helsingborgssektion Agora and also a student
representative in the Board and Steering Group of Campus Helsingborg.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Emilia Olszewska,
Media and Communication
What question do you find most important?
What can we do to make students feel included in
decision making? How to communicate our actions
to them?
How can we combine academic education and
learning of practical skills?
How can we reach students that do not know what the Union does? How can we reach out to
international students?
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Since November 2014 I have been a member of the Educational Committee and an actively
involved at our department. I can contribute to the RA my passion, perspective of an
international student and skills in the area of communication.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
So far I have really enjoyed working with and for the Union. Before this, I worked in different
NGOs (Academy for the future, All of Poland Reads to Kids), where one of my many duties
was leading a team of volunteers. I was also responsible for communication between
volunteers and management of those organizations. That way I have gained knowledge not
only on group work and coordinating projects involving many participants, but also on being
open to different voices and needs. During that period I have learned how to work under
pressure, gather necessary information and create informative reports.
I like working with other people and contribute to changing things for better. I am constantly
searching for new challenges and being a member of RA could be the next one!
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)

Emma Nordengren,
Behavioral sciences, sociology
What question do you find most important?
I believe that the most important questions to raise in the RA
are those concerning gender, equality and diversity, and I think
there is a lot that can be done to improve the unions work in
these matters.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Having been a part of the RA for one year has given me some
insight in the work of the union and the RA, but I am still quite
new to this context. I will therefore be bringing a new
perspective while having more knowledge about student politics then during my first year.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I am also active in Tjejjouren Lund.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Emma Wikberger,
Political Science
What question do you find most important?
I want the education to contain more scheduled lecture-time. I
would also like to see anonymous examinations for the social
science students.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I think my extensive experience in working for various student
organizations, together with my genuine interest in educational policy issues have provided
me with the valuable ability to develop the representative assembly and pursue issues that
improve conditions for the social science student at Lund University.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I have spent four semesters as a board member for Lund University’s political and economic
association (LUPEF), and was elected the chairman for two of them. LUPEF is the
recognized student association under the Department of Political Science and the chairman
post included being highest liable for the associations activities, members and leading the
board during 13-14. I have been active in Gothenburg nation in Lund, where I was the
enterprise manager and responsible for enterprise contacts/contracts. During one year I have
also been working for Akademikerförbundet SSR, Sweden’s largest union for academic in
social sciences.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Don’t know
Erik Svensson,
Peace and Conflict Studies
What question do you find most important?
Ensuring that students are satisfied with their
education, as well as the roads to employment
afterwards.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I'm a hard worker with a lot of free time on my hands. I have previous experience working for
free in organizations such as the scouting movement, but also in a political youth
organization.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Right now I am a writer for the Association of Foreign Affairs' webzine.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Gabriel du Plessis,
Social Studies of Gender
What question do you find most important?
Generally, I am most interested in transparency and equal
representation. I am particularly interested in ensuring that
students are taken seriously during their studies and
provided with the means to be fully informed about issues
that may affect them during their time at Lund University.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Being an active member at the Representative Assembly for the Social Sciences student
Union provides the means to ensure students’ rights are respected and transparency is
upheld. I am active and engaged member of the social science department, interested in
ensuring that students’ interests are represented efficiently and fairly.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I am currently a writer for Utrikesperspektiv, predominantly focusing on issues concerning
LGBT rights and representation. My interests in general are focuses on these issues. Whilst
completing my degree in the Czech Republic, for example, I coordinated various events,
including panel discussions addressing the rights of LGBTI students from various Central
European universities. I am not limited to these issues however, and generally interested in
equal representation- in whatever capacity that may be.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)

Hanna Christensen,
Psychology
What question do you find most important?
To continue the work with the Education
Committee (improve the new organisation
further) and strengthen the student voice on
the level of departments. To continue to be
more visible among our students. To reach out
even more with information about what we can
do for the students. Discussions about the working environment/working situation for the fulltimers.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I´ve been around for quite some time (since 2012) so I could contribute with knowledge
about the past of the Union. Otherwise I’m a humble person who loves discussions and to
see things from different point of views.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I have been active in Lundapsykologerna and also in IFK Helsingborgs Konståkningssektion
(figure skating).
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Ida Walderlo,
Strategic communication
What question do you find most important?
Quality assurance of the Social Science education at Lund as
well as interdisciplinary cooperation.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I could contribute with a view of how improvements can be
made within the union as well as interdisciplinary by way of
organizational communication. I also have experience working
with questions in equality and diversity and in international
contexts, perspectives that could be useful for RA. I lack experience of student assembling,
but hope to learn a lot.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Not at the moment, but has previously been engaged in issues of women's empowerment
and gender issues as well as the Linguists Association at Uppsala university.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Jakob Stockman Burg,
Pol.Kand – Economics
What question do you find most important?
The most important question for me is fair and equal treatment
for all students. For example initiatives against discrimination in
the student environment.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I am a kind person who cares about the people around me. I
would contribute a voice of reason and solutions to problems or
at least provide a new angle for looking at the situation. I like to
toss ideas around, and I have no problem with keeping my
head cool in a discussion. I strongly believe in equal treatment,
regardless of gender, education or background and will always make sure that that aspect is
recognized when discussing new ideas and motions.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Red Cross - Leader of a group called "Friend-group" within the youth section of The Red
Cross in Lund. We weekly visit a home for teenage immigrants who arrived by themselves
and plan activities with them to help with integration and to make new friends.
LUPEF - Chairman of the Election Committee.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
No
Jonatan Nyhlén,
Political science
What question do you find most
important?
Equality, that it is important that
everyone, regardless of gender to have
the same opportunities to study. Study
encouragement I find as an important
question. It is important that people are
motivated and think it’s fun and
interesting to study. I believe that
activities for greater communion shall be conducted frequently to maintain a good
atmosphere within the association.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have a genuine desire to improve and I’m not afraid to speak up. I can contribute with many
ideas of how the organization can be improved. As a person I am calm, social and likes
challenges. My goal is to always learn something new every day.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Not at the moment. When I don’t have to study, I work a lot as a salesman in order to finance
my studies and therefore I have not had much time to get involved in various organizations.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Kevin Shakir,
Political Science
What question do you find most important?
Diversity.
When it comes to studying at Lund university you
do not find that much diversity amongst students.
The majority of people with access to higher
education are people from a socioeconomically
stable background. We lack a diversity in people
with different sexualities, religions, colour of skin
and physical possibilities, to name a few issues.
When looking further into this you will come to find
that this is not only a "higher education-problem" but a part of a pattern in the society, where
the same people will become leaders and define norms and trends in our society, which
ultimately excludes a large number of groups of the possibility to influence over what
surrounds them.
I think that discussions regarding how to make the university more open for different groups
in the society, to insure a diverse representation among students, needs to be a bigger
agenda. We, as representatives for the students at Lund university, have a responsibility that
we not only reproduce a society where only some people have the right to education, power
and influence in the society.
Education and the knowledge to change your society is a freedom that should be available to
all, and today it is not.
It is time for a diverse Lund univeristy.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have tons of experience when it comes to being a representative of different causes.
Except for the fact that I myself have experienced how it is to be a part of a minority within
socioeconomic scales, I have worked with democracy and education issues earlier.
A couple of years ago I was elected to represent in the national board for the organization
Sweden's student councils - SVEA (Sveriges elevråd - SVEA), where I received a variety of
experiences when organizing and representing high school students from all over the country
in national politics. I was responsible and working as a political secretary, where I was very
close with the President and Vice President developing campaigns and producing political
statements toward the Swedish election in 2014. Besides from that I have organizational
experience where I started and was the President of the Skåne-district for the organization
where our main political goal was to lobby for a school system available for all that does not
exclude.
Other than this I work regularly as being a political actor with lecturing and debating for a
multicultural and diverse Sweden, where I put my main focus in the civil society and with
changing political parties for open and accepting politics that include all.
With all of these experiences I am certain that being a representative of the Social Science
student unions RA would not be something new and frightening, but a challenge where my
experience and perspectives would meet with higher education student-politics.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I run an organization called NYSKAPET, where the aim is to create a multicultural society.
Except for lectures and debating about how representation of different socioeconomic
experiences and competences mend into a fair and democratic development I still have
knowledge and contacts within the education politics-world of the Nordic countries. While I
am not in the national board of Sweden's student council - SVEA anymore, I represent the
organization as their International Officer, where I regularly meet with Nordic student
organizations to discuss Nordic education politics.
I value the experience and knowledge about different education systems, politics and
development within the Nordic countries and am certain that these skills, together with being
used to political negotiation, organization and representation, will make me an asset in the
Representative Assembly in the Social Science student Unions.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Kevin Wanyonyi,
Development Studies
What question do you find most important?
What is my purpose in life?
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have served in the Students' Council in my former
university; I believe I shall bring in some experience with
me.
Are you active in any other organisation that says
something about who you are?
Current VP-Pluto Board.
Board member, FENA Lund.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Linnea Hååg,
Behavioral sciences
What question do you find most important?
Equality and justice issues and labour market related questions.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have been part of the RA for the last year and I would like to
continue to influence and affect the unions work. I do feel that I have
more to say, do and give within the RA.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I have been involved in the labour market committee within BIL (Beteendevetare i Lund) for
the last year and been involved in SAMarbete, the labour market day for social sciences. I
am also involved in other organisations such as Amnesty International and have experience
from working with organizational matters from the Swedish scout movement.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Magdalena Signäs,
Socionomprogrammet/Socialwork
What question do you find most important?
That the Social Sciences Student Union at Lund University
keep working with the students’ rights to affect their
educations and environments during their studies.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I would contribute with a positive attitude to improve the Representative Assembly work with
a deliberative mind that sees possibilities where other might see obstacles.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I am president of Socionomsektionen which works under the Social Sciences Student Union
at Lund University and I am spexförman at Helsingkrona Nation. I also sing in several events
and in the choir - Vegachoir in Malmö.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Martin Hansen,
Political Science
What question do you find most important?
I have three equally important questions:
i) Equality: I want to promote equal representation within
the Union with regards to academic and social
background, as well as equality concerning gender,
language and nationality. ii) Transparency and iii) Member
influence: I want to extend the scope of interaction
between the Unions members and its work by promoting
transparency and participatory democracy.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have previous experience from the Representative Assembly going back two years that
would be a valuable asset in a fresh assembly. Such experience has brought me a good
understanding of the inner as well as the outer workings of the Union and the ability to work
efficiently with both first timers and more experienced members.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I am also a member of Lunds Socialdemokratiska Studentklubb (Lund's Social Democratic
Student Club).
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)

Matilda Edvardason,
Medie och
kommunikationsvetenskap
What question do you find most important?
Making sure students feel confident entering the labor
market that they know how to market themselves and
what opportunities they have.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Passion, commitment and focus on practical long lasting
ideas on communication.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Active in AMU at the Social science union and the PR committer of UPF.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Moa Persdotter,
Political Science
What question do you find most important?
Labour market questions. How can we connect
students to the labour market during their time
at Lund University?
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Knowledge. Happiness.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
The Unions Labour market committee. Boulfsplatsens BKs handball team.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Nathaly Mejia,
Political Sciences
What question do you find most important?
Education and to strengthen the relationship between studies
and professional life.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have been working with a labour union for two semesters and
there I realized the importance of having a say in your education
and to work with the education politics. I'm a person who easily
get engaged and I want to influence a context where I'm in.
Are you active in any other organisation that says
something about who you are?
Currently no, because I am doing my exchange year in France.
I am active in Jesperspexet and I am also active in an organisation called CISV, which is not
a student organisation from Lund. It's an international organisation with 200
chapters/locations worldwide.
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes, probably
Rebecca Jonsson,
Genusvetenskap
What question do you find most important?
Jag läser genusvetenskap med inriktning jämställdhet, makt
och mångfald. Därmed tycker jag att jämställdhet och
likabehandling är frågor som jag prioriterar mest. I framtiden
vill jag arbeta med detta och få människor att må bra på den
arbetsplatsen de är på. För det är då jag tror att man kan
utvecklas och prestera bättre, vilket i slutänden är det bästa
för alla.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Richard Forsén,
Political science
What question do you find most important?
The most pressing issue with the Union as it is today is
getting more people involved and making sure that as many
as possible see the Union in the light of what it really does:
representing the students at the social science faculty and
being the foremost part looking out for their best interests!
The Social Sciences student Union needs to mean more to
more of the students it's supposed to represent! Likewise the
role of the Union must also always reflect the diversity of the
student body it represents in all the Union does as well the Union's general outlook!
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I would contribute my many years of international experience (17 years in total in the US,
Germany, Greece and Finland) as well as my experience with three very different academic
environments at Lund university (the departments of economics, political science and
business law) in trying to make as big as possible a positive impact on the decision making in
the Representative Assembly in my strive for a more meaningful and inclusive Union. My
previous year of experience as an ordinary member of the Representative Assembly will
likewise make my second term - if I'm elected - so much more meaningful and productive.
So remember, folks... a vote for Forsén is a vote for a Union making a difference for the
better!
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I've been the vice chairman of LUPEF, the Lund university Association of Political and
Economic Affairs for almost two years, which has given me a great deal of insight into Lund
student life and student politics. I also have a year of experience as a member of the Social
Sciences student Union Representative Assembly under my belt and would be more than
happy, if elected, to continue contributing to the work of the Union in my second year of
Representative Assembly membership!
Will you stay in Lund for the entire mandate period? (one year)
Yes
Saga Sohlman,
Political science and economics within the Politices Bachelor’s degree
What question do you find most important?
I find equality to be the most important question. Both in a representative way at the
university but also at every level of my studies. I want to get a degree which gives me the
tools to work for equality in my future profession, therefor this is the question I want to raise
and work for through the union. It is important to me to, not only get the tools myself, but that
everyone studying at the social science faculty should get them to be able to work for
equality.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have a lot of experience from association work and I am therefor familiar with the process of
raising different question to the agenda and developing a strategy for them to get
implemented. Another qualification which I will contribute with to the RA is my ability to give
constructive critique. I do value a working climate where it is free to give critique on different
suggestions etc, but I do value it even more when the critique given is constructive. I therefor
always try to review the work under a loupe of constructive criticism. Giving constructive
critique is developing the work of the union, which of course will be one of my goals with
participating.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I'm active in the association of Foreign Affairs in Lund and in the Swedish association of
International affairs (which is the umbrella organization to UPF Lund). My commitment to
these two associations clearly shows that foreign affairs and international matters are great
interests of mine. I have also been active in LUPEF and been a mentor during LUPEF's
novischweeks VT14 and HT14.

What could you contribute with in the RA?
I am positive and forward person who like to develop projects with my creative mind. Student
Issues is something that has become increasingly important for me. I like to be able to affect
new thoughts and ideas to the project/job that I am working with.

Jag har vart engagerad i studentförening Stampus styrelse under ett års tid och under det

What question do you find most important?
The question of student influence. From the Union's
side, it's about the ability to give students the opportunity
to be represented and have influence in different
University matters.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
First of all, I could contribute with my experience as a
full-timer at the Union. Secondly, I believe I can
contribute to creating a well-functioning Representative
Assembly, something the Union has been working on for
a long time.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
At the moment, the Union takes up all of my time, but I love it and think that it says
something about my devotion to it.

Thea Holmlund,
Political Science and economics
What question do you find most important?
The most important question for me is how the union can work to create a closer link
between studies and career. Since what you do while studying doesn't provide a lot of
practical experience. I think the union plays a crucial role in this question.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I have experience in being a part of a student association and in the work that it brings.
Something I'm really interested in is how to work on developing and improving an
association, since it's always possible to improve things. I'm really eager to be a part of
working with how to develop the union. I hope I can contribute with engagement and new
perspectives. I'm experienced in working on how to get as many voices as possible heard
and making people feel included. I hope I will be able to encourage even more students to
get engaged in the union. Since I think the most important thing for the Union is its members.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
Since July 2014 I have been head of the lecture committee in UPF and also board member.
My task as the head of the lecture committee is to plan and host lectures weekly throughout
the semesters, together with two other heads. This also includes managing our budget,
booking lecture halls as well as organizing the work of the active members in the committee
effectively. Global issues and foreign affairs is a big interest of mine.

What question do you find most important?
The wellbeing of the students and the representation of them in University bodies. Also the
long term planning of how the Swedish university system should be formed. I also think that
we need to focus on the competitiveness of Lund university, and especially the Social
Sciences, in the whole world.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
Experience of working in a political controlled organization where negotiations with other
parties (eg. the university). I also have a very good experience of building up organizations,

Ville Trygg,
Political science and business law
What question do you find most important?
Transparency in grade decision. In some courses it
seems that the grade criteria only are ink on a paper,
giving the grade decision a shadow of arbitrariness. As
it is now with many courses having grades A to E this
question has become even more important in my eyes.
What could you contribute with in the RA?
I think I can contribute with economical knowledge and experience from a lot of different
organisations, both from the student context and outside the context.
Are you active in any other organisation that says something about who you are?
I am currently active as treasurer of LUPEF, with responsibility for the organisation’s
economics and accounting. I am also a scout leader in a local scout unit. If that says
something about who I am, it is up to others to judge.
