2015 CLOSING CEREMONIES
Information Sheet
CLOSING CEREMONIES: will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at North High
Football stadium, starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. Please arrive with plenty of time to
park and walk in. Please have teams begin arriving and getting their players in order by
9:30am. If your team will not be able to attend the ceremony, please let us know
immediately.
o Teams are required to wear their team jersey and hats. Shorts are
recommended. Please have the coaches stay with your team.
o Teams will be lining up southeast end of the stadium (JV field) and will be
marching in. Look for the SBL banner. After marching in, you will find your
team name on the stadium field.
CLOSING PICNIC: Picnic will begin immediately following the ceremonies. 11am
until 2pm. You may start dropping off picnic equipment from 7AM-8AM. Please do not
arrive before 7AM. You may enter through the North Gate or the South Gate (by
tennis courts). We advise you to bring someone with you to help you unload. Please
look for marked pathways. We advise for each team to bring one or couple EZ Ups and
sports chairs. A team sign to designate your team area are always helpful.
CRAFT VENDORS: We are excited to have our craft vendors back this year.
Please go and support your small local crafters! They will be located in the blacktop
area.
WATER PLAY: We’ll be having a designated area for water play area. With
California facing severe drought this year, we’ll have pre-filled buckets of water
available for the kids. If you can bring one or two bucket of water for your teams that
would help us conserve water.
Please follow simple safety rules:
o Shoes/Slippers must be worn at all times.
o Water play should be for kids ONLY.
o Absolutely NO refueling water guns in restrooms. There will be kids pools
provided.
o Please watch your kids at all times.
RAFFLE: The raffle ticket is a “double”. On the side that says “DROP THIS TICKET”
write your name and team before you drop it into the box for the prize you want to win.
Keep the side that says “KEEP THIS COUPON” and listen for your number and name.
WINNER MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN, or leave the ticket with a friend to claim the
prizes for you. The name will be called three times, and unclaimed prizes will be
redrawn. You will have an opportunity to buy more raffle tickets at the Sansei Baseball
Booth. The raffle drawing will start at 1PM.
