The Santa Fe Concorso prefers electronic applications; however, entries can also be made using the downloadable application form. Please complete this form. The Santa Fe Concorso requires a minimum of one high-‐resolution JPEG digital photograph of your vehicle(s). The Santa Fe Concorso Vehicle Selection Committee will review applications as they are received and notices of acceptance will be given beginning on May 1, 2015. All vehicles accepted by the Santa Fe Concorso are judged, except special display-‐only vehicles. The Santa Fe Concorso emphasizes the classic French judging criteria of authenticity, elegance, design, innovation, and provenance. To encourage entrants to participate in the Saturday Mountain Tour, the undercarriage of vehicles is not judged. PROGRAM BOOK DESCRIPTION AND PHOTOGRAPH
Please send a HIGHEST resolution image that your digital camera is capable of taking (up to 25 MB maximum allowed). This image will be reproduced in the Santa Fe Concorso program book. We prefer images of the vehicle only, no people in the image please. The program book also includes a description of each vehicle. Please attach a 500-‐computer-‐character (not words) description specific to your vehicle. EXAMPLE: 1930 Packard 745 Super Eight Owned by Bill Thomas of Richards, Texas This Packard 745 Super Eight is fitted with a seven-‐passenger touring body. The original factory price of this Packard model was $4,585. A total of 1,789 Packard 745 cars were produced in all body styles, which was the top of the Packard line in 1930. This car is powered by a 385-‐cu.-‐in., straight 8-‐cylinder engine rated at 106 hp coupled to a 4-‐speed transmission, which was new in 1930. The car has a wheelbase of 145.5 inches, with 19-‐inch wheels and four-‐wheel mechanical brakes. In 2009, the current owner purchased the car from a gentleman in Indiana who had amazingly owned the car for 52 years. ENTRANT PARTICIPATION FEE
Upon acceptance of your vehicle by the Vehicle Selection Committee, the Santa Fe Concorso requires a non-‐refundable entrant participation fee of $200.00 for cars and motorcycles. Multiple entries are not subject to an additional fee. The entrant participation fee of $200.00 allows the entrant to participate in the following events: §
Friday Night -‐ Credentials for one person to the Friday Night Gathering at the Santa Fe Air Center, featuring vintage airplanes, as well as cars that toast the “Need for Speed” theme. The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages. A Concorso goodie bag, program book, and event poster will be distributed to each entrant during this event. §
Saturday -‐ Participation in the Mountain Tour, tour decal, refreshments, and hosted lunch for one person. §
Sunday -‐ Credentials for the Concorso and admission to the VIP lunch for one person. Complimentary coffee and pastries will be available before the Concorso opens to the public. For a discounted, all-‐inclusive fee of $150.00, an entrant’s spouse, companion, or one guest may attend the Friday Night Gathering, the Saturday Mountain Tour and hosted lunch, and the Sunday Concorso and VIP lunch. Additional credentials may be available to vehicle entrants by special arrangement.
