Emergency Vehicle Driver Training (EVOC) This course, developed by Volunteer Fireman's Insurance Services, provides instruction in techniques of driving emergency vehicles under all conditions. Students will learn the importance of vehicle dynamics, driver selection, and condition and preparation on safe vehicle operations. The course includes practice on a driving course laid out to simulate various driving conditions. After successful conclusion of the course students will receive a Pennsylvania State Fire Academy completion certificate listing the types of vehicle driven in the competency course. 12.5 hours of “other” CEUs will be awarded for EMS providers.
