Small Business Alliance to Present Financial Summit on Access to Capital
Business Development Agencies Collaborate to Share Small Business Financial Resources
ATLANTA, GA March 23, 2015 – Georgia’s small business development community will come together
on Friday, April 10, 2015 for a landmark small business event, the 2015 Financial Summit – Access to
Capital. The focus will be the most top of mind concern of the small business owner: how to secure the
funding necessary to grow and sustain the business. The number one reason the majority of small
businesses fail within the first two years is capital, so there is no issue more pressing on the minds of
small business owners. A group of organizations dedicated to small business development have
partnered to present this first-of-its-kind Summit, to be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, at
1000 Peachtree Street in Midtown. Scheduled for 9:00 am to 3:30 pm on Friday, April 10th, the Summit
is open to the public and free of charge.
Among the agencies partnering to bring the Summit to Georgia’s small business community is a who’s
who of leading small business development organizations, including the Atlanta Business League, ACE,
DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Minority Supplier
Development Council, Opportunity Hub, Wells Fargo Bank, the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. The
day will include keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, networking opportunities and more,
presented by a dynamic faculty of lenders, experts and finance thought leaders from across the
spectrum. Topics will include traditional lending, alternative lending sources, business credit, venture
capital, crowd funding, required lender documentation and more. Each participant will walk away with
not only a wealth of information about various ways to capitalize the business, but with all of the
documents and resources necessary to make the right fiscal decisions.
Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. There will be no onsite registration on the day of the

advance. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. The Summit is an historic event, as this diverse group of
