Centers of Excellence is significantly lower than if you had the same surgery in the U.S.,

Why should I choose Satori World Medical?
When you choose Satori World Medical, you and your covered dependents enrolled in
a Kyocera medical plan have the option to go beyond your local hospital and choose from
the world’s best hospitals and surgeons. Satori provides you with a medical and travel
service package that includes scheduling your surgery, transferring your medical records,
booking the flights, hotel, and in-country ground transportation for both you and your
companion; and help with scheduling your post-operative appointments.

Satori World Medical has a very strict Hospital Evaluation and Selection Process that is
led by our in-house Chief Medical Officer, (CMO) and our Quality Advisory Board. Our
CMO oversees all aspects of care and quality assurance and conducts on-site visits to
our network hospitals. Satori’s Network Hospitals meet or exceed U.S. standards. Many
of these hospitals are affiliated with U.S. institutions such as Johns Hopkins, Harvard
Medical, Columbia University and others. The surgeons are U.S., British or equivalently
trained, board certified, and English speaking. All network hospitals are Joint
Commission International or equivalently accredited.
When you choose Satori, your annual deductible, co-insurance, and co-pays will be paid
for by Kyocera. You will also receive a $2,500* bonus check (*subject to applicable taxes)
paid directly to you from Kyocera and $500 from Satori World Medical for incidental
expenses. This Medical Travel Benefit applies to the same procedures covered by your
Kyocera health plan. Your international flights, hotel and necessary in-country ground
transportation will also be covered for both you and your companion. You will have no out
of pocket medical costs. In fact, you will never see a medical bill.
