SATRA is pleased to offer a Natural Horse Health Seminar with Marijke van de Water, B.Sc.,
DHMS of Rivas Remedies Ltd out of Armstrong BC.
You may have seen or dealt with Rivas Remedies at the Mane Event in Red Deer.
This seminar is facilitated by Marijke van de Water, B.Sc., (Clinical Nutrition) DHMS
(Homeopathic Medicine). Marijke is a Homeopathic Practitioner, Equine Health & Nutrition
Specialist, Medical Intuitive & Healer with over 20 years of experience in private practice. She
resolves a variety of horse health conditions through diet, nutrition, supplements, herbs,
homeopathy and kinesiology. Her easy style, expert knowledge, and extensive teaching
experience have put her in high demand across North America for her informative lectures,
fascinating workshops, and successful health practices with both people and horses.
The focus will be on the underlying cause of all health conditions from a practical perspective
with an emphasis on resolving health problems with feeding programs, nutritional supplements,
herbs, homeopathic remedies, equine psychology, and common-sense natural horse-keeping.
Natural health programs apply to all horses: recreational, show, performance and competitive
equine athletes.
The clinic will run Friday evening March 20 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Saturday March 21 from
9:00am to 4:30pm.

Saturday, March 21, 2015 9:30-11:00am. PowerPoint How to Feed Horses The facts on Grass,
Hay, grain, Grain Alternatives.-Equine metabolic Syndrome-Insulin Resistance& Cushing’s
disease. 11:00-11:15 Break. 11:15-12:30pm. Interactive Exercise What Are You Feeding Your
Horse and Why? 12:30-1:30pm Lunch Break 1:30-3:15pm PowerPoint Natural Treatment
Programs for all Conditions Including Case Studies 3:15-3:30pm Break. 3:30-4:15pm.
“Healing With The Marijke Method™” Kinesiology Demonstration.
COST: The cost of the clinic is $125.00 per person. SATRA will pay $100.00 for every club
participant who has been a SATRA member in good standing for two (2) consecutive years prior
to January 1, 2015 and have paid their 2015 membership.
LOCATION: The Coast Hotel in Lethbridge. 526 Mayor Magrath Drive South.
