Local Lyre of Gamma Tau Gamma April 2015 Message from your GTG Exec Board: Hello Sisters! I am the new historian to the Gamma Tau Gamma board, and wanted to take the chance to introduce myself and explain what my position entails. Traditionally, the historian would collect photographs and put them in an album. However, since almost everything is digital nowadays, that means that the position has to evolve. While I am trying to track down the old scrapbooks (if anyone knows where they are or were last seen, please let me know), I am also trying to improve our record keeping for events that we are involved in. The young demographic of today is highly involved in social media; from Facebook, to Twitter, to Instagram. My goal as historian is to be able to be more connected in the social media realm to hopefully bring more youth into GTG. If we are able to connect with our younger sisters on a level that they like and understand, I believe that their interest in staying involved with Alpha Chi Omega post-graduation will only increase. I hope everyone has a wonderful April! LITB, Novelle Shakeel GTG Historian Interested in Helping Epsilon Psi? Host a Sisterhood Building Activity!
