Instructions
Cast on
With 4.5mm needles, cast on 90 +1 stitches. Slip the last stitch from your right needle to your left one, place a marker. Bind in the
round by knitting together the first two stitches on your left needle. Tighten it up.
Ribbing
Start knitting the rib: *K2 P1, repeat from *. Knit 5 rows following this pattern.
Increases
Knit a 6th row while increasing the row by 30 stitches (spread over the whole row).

Fair Isle Pattern
The snowflake hat fair isle pattern is knitted over 120 stitches, hence the increases we did. Change for your 5mm needles and
start the Fair Isle pattern!

Decreases
Row 42 K8, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 108 stitches left.
Row 43 Knit.
Row 44 K7, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 96 stitches left.
Row 45 K6, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 84 stitches left.
Row 46 K5, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 72 stitches left.
Row 47 K4, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 60 stitches left.
Row 48 K3, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 48 stitches left.
Row 49 K2, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 36 stitches left.
Row 50 K1, K2TOG. Repeat 12 times = 12 decreases, 24 stitches left.
Bind off
Finish your beanie by using a tapestry needle: cut off your yarn (leave about 30cm) and slip all remaining stitches on your tapestry
needle. Make a knit and weave in ends. Beanie complete 
You can also add a pompom (I used dark and light purple with grey threads for mine )
