NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed tenders are hereby invited on behalf of the Advisor-Administration,
SBI Life Insurance Company Limited, (Central Processing Centre),
Kapas Bhavan, Plot No. 3A, Sector-10, Ground Floor, CBD Belapur,
Navi Mumbai – 400614 from Scrap Dealers, Individuals and others who
are interested in buying Non Ferrous, Plastic, Wood Scrap, etc.

Procedure
for The offer price shall be quoted on lump sum
quoting
basis for all the Categories of the scrap (as

annexure A. The tender shall be awarded based
on the highest offer received. In other words, the
successful bidder would be decided for the quote
based on the highest offer received.

The last date of submission of completed tender document to the
office of Advisor-Administration, SBI Life Insurance Company Limited,
Kapas Bhavan, Plot No. 3A, Sector-10, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai –
400614 is 27.05.2015 till 3.00PM (afternoon).
3. Advisor-Administration reserves the right to reject all or any tender
wholly or partly without assigning any reason whatsoever.

INSTRUCTION TO THE TENDERERS
The Tender shall be submitted in accordance with these instructions and
any tender not conforming the instructions as under is liable to be rejected.
These instructions shall form the part of the tender and contract.
1.
The tender should be submitted in sealed cover super scribed as
“NON FERROUS, PLASTIC, WOOD SCRAP, ETC”.
2.
The tender shall be completed in all respect and should be signed
with date by the Authorized Signatory of tenderer on all the pages.
3.
The offer price shall be quoted for the scrap on lump sum basis “as
is where is basis” as photographed excluding government taxes and
duties.
4.
The photographs of the Scrap are enclosed for your ready reference.
However, the Tenderers are free to inspect the Scrap at the SBI Life
Insurance Company Limited, (Central Processing Centre), Kapas
Bhavan, Plot No. 3A, Sector-10, Ground Floor, CBD Belapur, Navi
Mumbai – 400614 from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm on any working day from
Monday to Friday wef. 22.05.2015 to 25.05.2015.
5.
The tender shall be awarded based on the highest offer received for
all the items. In other words, the successful bidder would be decided for the
lump sum amount based on the highest offer received. Accordingly, the
delivery of all items would be issued to selected bidder, who is Highest 1.
6.
The truck/tempo for Scrap lifting and carrying shall be arranged by
tenderer at their cost. The tenderer shall have to make arrangement for
loading of scrap to truck/ tempo at their cost and SBI Life will not pay any
charges for the same.

FORM OF TENDER

Subject: Offer for Non Ferrous, Plastic, Wood Scrap, etc on “ As is
where is basis”.
Dear Sir,
HAVING EXAMINED AND PERUSED THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS

4. Commercial & General Terms & Conditions
I / We hereby submit our quoted rates in the enclosed format of “Offer
format” as Annexure-A.
The validity of the offer is 30 days from the last date of submission of
tender.
2. I / We agree that the price quoted in ‘Offer format” as enclosed as
annexure- A is excluding of taxes, duties and other government levies as
applicable on the sale of scrap
3. In the event of my success in tender, I / We will pay lump sum amount in
Rupees for the items detailed in Annexure – ‘A’ by way of Demand
Draft/Pay Order in favor of SBI Life Insurance Company Limited towards
the cost of Scrap within two working days from the date of awarding the
order.
4. I / We shall have to make all arrangements for loading of scrap to truck /
tempo at our cost.
5. I / We agree to lift the whole lot of scrap and not a part thereof failing
which SBI Life will be at a liberty to sell the reaming forfeit EMD deposited
by me/us.

6. I / We agree that in the event of failure to deposit lump sum amount as
detailed for the items detailed in Annexure – ‘A’ within stipulated time of two
days period from the date of awarding the order, SBI Life may go ahead
with selling of the scrap to other tenderer
7. We agree that Advisor-Administration, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd,
reserves the right to reject the tender wholly or partially without assigning
any reasons.
I / We have thoroughly read the “Form of Tender (2 pages)” and confirm
with our acceptance to all terms & conditions without any deviation.

COMMERCIAL AND GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Sealed Tenders are hereby invited for disposal of Non Ferrous, Plastic,
Wood Scrap, etc on “As is where is basis”. The Scrap is available for
disposal at SBI Life Insurance Company Limited, CPC, CBD Belapur as per
the following terms & conditions:
1. Tenderers shall submit their offers in a sealed cover super scribed as
“Tender for Non Ferrous, Plastic, Wood Scrap, etc” at SBI Life
Insurance Company Limited, on or before 27.05.2015 up to 3 P.M.
2. Tenderers shall take into account the cost of labour, loading & cartage
etc. for taking delivery from the premises of SBI Life, CPC before quoting
the rates.
3. The successful Tenderer shall bear the cost of removing the sscrap from
SBI Life site till the scrap is loaded in Truck/Tempo.
4. The validity of the offer shall be of 30 days from the last date of
submission of the offer.
5. The Advisor-Administration reserves all the rights to accept or reject any
or all the offers. The decision of the Advisor-Administration will be final and
binding on the Tenderers.
6. The successful Tenderers shall pay lump sum amount in Rupees for the
items detailed in Annexure – ‘A’ by way of Demand Draft/Pay Order in
favor of SBI Life Insurance Company Limited within two working days from
the date of awarding the order.
7. All responsibility related to labour P.F., ESI, Insurance etc. or any taxes
as applicable will be of the successful Tenderers. SBI Life shall not be
responsible for the same.
8. The scrap is being sold on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS”. The scrap is
being sold on the assumption that the Tenderers have inspected them and
know what they are buying.
9. All the communication shall be addressed to:

10. In the event of any dispute the legal matter shall be subjected to the
jurisdiction of Mumbai/Navi Mumbai Court only.

Conditions (two pages) as given above.
