Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in Queensland
Domestic and family violence is a violation of basic human rights. We all have a part to play in ending it. The Queensland Government is implementing the Trust your instinct social marketing campaign during Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month in May.
The campaign aims to help people in the community recognise the signs of domestic and family violence — especially non-physical abuse such as
stalking, threats, verbal abuse or controlling behaviour — and encourages them to call DVConnect for advice on how to help before it is too late.
The message is: Don’t let your concern become regret. Trust your instinct — call DV Connect.
Friends, family, colleagues and neighbours of people experiencing abuse in a domestic or family relationship are encouraged to call the statewide
DV Connect Womensline or Mensline for free, confidential advice about safety strategies and available support.
If you would like further information, email the Trust your instinct campaign team.
4 Park Pass—online discount vouchers. The school has received a small number of online discount vouchers for a 4 Park Pass for
only $55. If you are interested in using one these vouchers please come to the office to collect one. First in best dressed with this
offer as we do not have enough for the entire school.
