You can apply for this course if you have a bachelor
degree or an equivalent qualification in any discipline,
other than logistics, supply chain management or
procurement, from a recognised tertiary institution.
Alternatively, you may have at least three years’
relevant professional or managerial work experience. In
addition, you must meet Curtin’s English competency
standards.
Credit for recognised learning
Credit for recognised learning is assessed on an
individual basis.
Duration
This course comprises four units and can be completed
in six months full-time or equivalent part-time study.

This course is designed for applicants wanting to advance
their careers in the area of logistics and supply chain
management. The course will meet the needs of those
professionals with technical and supervisory skills in
logistics and supply chain management with or without a
first degree.
Completion of this course can lead to entry onto the
Master of Supply Chain Management or the Master of
Commerce (Supply Chain Management).
Curtin is the only university that offers postgraduate
logistics and supply chain management courses in
Western Australia. Our dynamic relationship with

About logistics and supply chain management
Logistics and supply chain professionals manage the supply
of goods and services from the point of origin (supplier),
to its final destination (customer), in the fastest, safest
and most cost-effective way possible. As the international
business sector grows and the need for efficient product
distribution increases, experts in logistics and supply chain
management are becoming more important.
Industry connections and professional recognition
On graduation, you may be eligible for membership to the
Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation Australia
(CILTA) and/or the Logistics Association of Australia (LAA).
This graduate certificate is not accredited with the Chartered
Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) but further study
onto either the Master of Supply Chain Management or the
Master of Commerce (Supply Chain Management) can lead
to students being eligible for membership.
Curtin Business School (CBS) has established a network
of advisory boards – groups of industry representatives
who support the school by providing invaluable business
knowledge. These industry professionals have direct input
into the curriculum of the logistics programs, helping
to ensure that you are industry-ready on graduation.
