Carewest Garrison Green opened its doors to the Calgary community in 2010 and has since grown to offer programs
and services for 200 long-term care residents. Carewest Garrison Green offers the following:
EQuaL Program (Enabling Quality of Life)
For residents under the age of 65
with physical disabilities and complex
care needs with a focus on fostering a
sense of home, family and community
for residents.

Amenities at Garrison Green include
a cafe, gift shop, hair salon, open-air
courtyard, washer/drying for per‐
sonal use, library, dining rooms and
rentable private function space for
resident use.
Meal Service
Carewest Food Services strives to
create and serve healthy, nutritious
meals with friendly service in a
relaxed environment. Most special
dietary requirements can be met
and we welcome feedback from
residents and families.
Secured Dementia Care
For frail, cognitively complex resi‐
dents, whose care needs cannot be
met in a supportive living environ‐
ment and who require professional
nursing care in a secure environment.

Rooms
All our private suites are apartment‐
styleand come equipped with a three‐
piece ensuite. Each suite is tastefully
decorated and furnished with a bed,
small nightstand and a wardrobe/
closet. Garrison Green is a completely
smoke‐free environment.
Therapy Services
Activities can be organized on a
regular basis to enhance well‐being
and respond to physical, emotional,
intellectual, spiritual, cultural and
sensory needs.
Carewest Garrison Green is a 175,000-sq.-ft. facility and each private room is more than 300 sq. ft. It also offers two couples suites and two
bariatric suites. Amenities include a cafe, gift shop, hair salon, open-air courtyard and private function space for resident use.
