of taking part in the Tails on the Trails dog walk.
I waive and release any and all claims for
damages which I may have against Second
Chance Animal Rescue Society and any others
connected with this event.
I understand that I must clean up after my
animals and that they must be leashed,
sociable, and have up-to-date vaccinations.

SCARS is a non-profit, primarily volunteer-operated,
registered charitable organization dedicated to
reducing the number of homeless animals in
Northern Alberta.
Since 2002, SCARS has rescued and
re-homed more than 6,000 animals.
Our mission is to promote the humane care and
protection of all animals and to prevent cruelty and
suffering.
We believe there is a suitable home for all homeless
animals - young or old, large or small.
We provide veterinary care and foster homes until
permanent homes are found.
Our foster homes provide the animals with warm
shelter, food, exercise and tender loving care —
something that so many of these animals have never
experienced.

The goal of this event is to raise funds for SCARS,
raise awareness of rescues in need, and have a
lot of fun doing it! Grab family and friends and
join us for a fun-filled day with great food,
entertainment, and good company. Every
penny raised goes directly to help the animals
in need.
Please ensure that pets who attend the event
have up-to-date vaccinations and are reasonably
sociable with other animals. Animals must be
leashed at all times.
