Brimfield State Forest Trails

 Brimfield State Forest Trails Massachusetts DCR Brimfield, MA Length 15 miles Difficulty Easy to moderate Type Location and Parking Southwest corner of Brimfield. Traveling west from Brimfield center on Route 20, turn left onto Monson Road and left onto Dean Road. Park entrance will be in two miles. There is one designated parking area located at the Dean Pond Recreation Area. Orientation Map Formal, blazed trails and off-­‐road trails. Formal trails provide access for visitors with strollers or disabilities. Permitted Uses Hiking, walking, bicycling, mountain biking, cross-­‐country skiing, and horseback riding Description The Brimfield State Forest, located in Hampden County has over 18 formal, blazed trails throughout the 1,937 acres of rolling, heavily forested state park. It is popular for equestrian use, but also contains Dean Pond Recreation Area for picnicking along the beach.
