This is the New Professional Learning Salary Schedule
Overview
The Professional Learning Salary
framework recognizes professional
learning, which promotes significant
contributions to student learning and
educator practice, and is equally
accessible to all members of the
bargaining unit. The framework
encourages educators to remain
career-long learners in order to
increase student learning, to enhance
educator skills, and to have
educators be visible models as
learners to their students and the
community.
How to Advance?
Advancing Steps under the New Salary Schedule:
The teacher must work at least one (1) day more than
a full contract year to advance a step each year of
work experience.
Advancing Lanes under the New Salary Schedule:
y Total of 225 approved Salary Contact Hours (SCH).
y Salary Contact Hours can be earned from any of
the following:

y Continued Education Units (CEU)
y District & Association designed and approved
Professional Learning Certificates (courses)

TRANSITION
y Placement:
y The current salary schedule will be used
as basis for initial placements

2.
y

Salary Schedule on Lane/Step with same
salary or next highest.
Placed at the most left lane, so long as the
